Family Care Centers - Fountain Valley's Online Review Report Card

The receptionist/front office woman was extremely rude and unhelpful. I clearly had never been there before and she treated me like I was stupid for not knowing where to go the signs inside or outside did not tell me what to do, nor did she actually tell me anything besides to wait outside and wait for texts. The texts I had received did not give me any specific directions on what to do. The doctor, Kristin, was extremely helpful, kind and completely listened to my symptoms and gave me great advice. I hate giving a bad review because I thought she was amazing at her job and would go to her again if I could. I totally understand COVID protocols, but there was no need for the attitude or aggressive repetitive speaking from the receptionist. Literally just wanted to do what I needed to do and leave with no trouble. This woman literally made me feel worse and Im already sick lol. Someone needs to give her a reality check of where she works and how to treat patients in a field where most will not be feeling well. Usually I do not write bad reviews as I hate being any type of negativity in a world already full of it, but Ive never been treated so rudely by an office meant for the sick. I was already stressed out from being sick and she just added to it. Not asking her to be 100% to everyone, but damn at least give a little grace to the people you communicate to.

Everythiing about this fadility is professional and caring.  Dr. Coyne is patient, knowledgeable, and makes sure he takes time to listen to everythig I  have to say.  I recently had a bad fall and called several times to ask questions and seek medication.  I was never rushed and everyone from the phone assistants to Of cocurse, Dr. Coyne were very patient with me and conserned.So happy I am takeen such good care of here.

This Family Care Center deserves this high a rating.  From the staff (headed by Agnes) to Dr. Coyne, They are all exceptional, friendly, professional and caaring.

Made an appointment for 11:00am after I got attacked and bit by a dog. Showed up the 15 minutes early like I was told to. It is currently 11:45am and I am still waiting. When I asked how much longer.. the front desk person said another 1015 minutes. Not sure what the point of an appointment is. Also its not like the place is packed. There were 2 other patients here when I arrived.

I am very happy with family care center and particularly my doctor Dr. Jennifer Shogquist shes always there to listen to me and take time with me and I appreciate everything she does and they are most courteous on their staff I was so happy that I could go there to get my Covid shots and I am such a relief after I got it I would recommend family care center and particularly Dr. Jennifer Shogquist for anything they need shes very good with the elderly

Everyone there, staff, Dr. Coyne, Telephone people, is friendly and ready to help. They are caring and efficient.

I usually do not click 5 stars for a doctors office because they are not patient friendly.  The doctor usually is, but the staff is usually isnt.  However, Family Care Centers staff and Dr. Coyne are not just friendly, they are efficient and caring.  Everyone from the women who take your calls to the front desk and the Patient Assistants are all that way.  They are all lead  by Agnes, the Administration Manager.  She always has time to say hello.  They set a high bar for other medical offices.  Ive been a patient for over ten years and they have continually improved.

My husband and I got our first COVID shots here and it was run perfectly.  Staff was friendly and very efficient.  Was a nice surprise they served so many seniors so quickly.  Safe, exceptional and made us feel welcomed.
