Excellent surgeon with a Caring Heart Her pre-surgery care and the surgery and the post-surgery care have all been excellent. She is not only an excellent physician but also a caring human being. Willing to answer questions any questions you have to any lengths you wish. Very intelligent and very caring. A rare combination!

Dr. Kakkis is an extraordinary doctor. She is caring and proactive. She orders all the necessary screenings to assess your diagnosis. Last year I was diagnosed with BRCA1 and Dr. Kakkis is been very supportive monitoring my health. Recently, Dr. Kakkis removed my right breast and coordinated the reconstruction of my breast with Dr. Brandon Richland at the same time. She was careful to coordinate my surgery in a conservative and caring fashion to minimize risks of infection (due to covid-19) and expedite the healing process. I am recovering really well and getting ready for the removal of my left breast. Dr. Kakkis assistant Kristine is phenomenal. She handled all my paperwork so smoothly, including the submission of my disability claim. I will not trust any other doctor to perform this surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Kakkis for all your breast concerns.

Dr. Kakkis is amazing! She goes above and beyond the standard of care for her patients. She makes decisions based on the best thing for you as an individual and makes sure you understand why it's being done this way. Her office is relaxed and comfortable. Her surgical skills are excellent and she provides follow-up care for her cancer patients long term so you have that extra support moving forward. HIGHLY recommend her as part of your team of doctors!

I am thrilled to have found such a competent Dr for my surgery. Upon getting 2nd opinions I was told that if I was considering Dr Jane Kakkis that I already had the BEST Breast surgeon and to venture no further. Her Asst Mai is a pleasure, Diane her coordinating nurse is Awesome and full of information on what to expect with all procedures. Dr Reitherman is the radiologist and so calming. All together they made me feel like family. I totally recommend them all as Top Quality professionals!!
