Very poor relational skills, demonstrated difficulty listening, by wanting to talk while patient was talking as well as reading record, lacked compassion and understanding, seemed to have no insight about his how abrupt he was

I've only been his patient for a handful of months, but after a while, you already know when a doctor is a great internist. His bedside manner is excellent, likes to think and run through different scenarios with questions and critical thinking, refers as necessary, responds to secure messages within 2 days (typically the same day or next), and the appointment doesn't feel rushed. And above all, his medical advice is spot on. He is just a wonderful all-around PCP.

My biggest complaint as it is with most doctors is their lack of understanding of their patients time. I’ve seen Dr. Chou twice now and each time I’ve had an appointment I have to wait a minimum of 40+ minutes. The nurse told me after she took me back to a room which was already 20mins past my appointment that he has two more telephone visits, so he’ll be in after that. Why is his job anymore important that mine. When I make appointments with clients if I’m not on time I’ll lose that client. Other than that Dr. Chou is a great doctor and truly caring.

Very professional doctor Chou and his amazing staff make it so easy for me to do the colonoscopy for first time , unless I was terrified . I highly recommend this doctor and his facilities cause they care about you thanks

waited more than 90 minutes for a first appointment. No contact with anyone for 90 minutes in his exam room. I left and told the nurse that this was no way to start a relationship with a first time patient. I wouldn't see this doctor if I was dying.

EASY TO MAKE AN APPT, FAST AND COURTEOUS AT THE RECEPTION AREA. DR CHOU DOESNT MESS AROUND RIGHT TO THE POINT AND ALSO EDUCATES HIS PATIENTS WITH THEIR ISSUES. I WILL RECOMMEND HIM TO ALL.
