Recently I saw Dr. Fareed for a urinary retention issue I had while visiting the Newport Beach area. Dr. Fareed is a urologist with impeccable credentials. He was very good at explaining my problem and what tests would be needed to further evaluate my situation in order to come up with a remedy. Because I was from out of town Dr.Fareed and his staff were accommodating, understanding my need to return home. I would definitely recommend Dr Fareed for your urological needs.

I called here to set up an appointment with this office. Everything went fine and the appointment was scheduled. However, the day before the appointment they called me to cancel the appointment. Telling me he will not be able to see me for my urology issue I am having. This really upset and bothered me, because why would they wait 2 weeks just to cancel last minute on me. Now I have to call around to find another urologist. So basically I don't think this office is very professional at all. Also they just wasted 2 weeks of my time that I could have have scheduled with someone else. That being said I don't recommend this office at all.

Dr. Fareed He was rude, angry and his follow-up did not happen. As a result of his procedure I have ed. He does not care about the care he gives to his patients.

Dr. Fareed was my urologist in Cleveland. He recommended "TURP" --very unwise of him considering there were other choices. Definitely would not recommend him

Dr.Fareed operated Urolift in my prostate without health insurance approval. It seemed as if he was experimenting on me. According to another doctor, Dr. Fareed was not supposed to perform Urolift on my prostate. After his performance, my upper neck bladder is very tight... You have to proceed with caution with whatever Dr. Fareed suggests.

GREAT DOCTOR I have seen a lot of Doctor's in my life. Having had 19+ surgeries in my life I have experienced every possible bedside manner imaginable. My experience with Dr. Fareed is in the top 5 best Dr's I have seen. He is friendly, very professional, thorough and takes the time to explain things in a way that makes it very easy to understand. I also felt his office staff and nurse were also very helpful and kind. Going to see a Urologist is not the most pleasant thing to do, but if you must, I highly recommend Dr. Fareed.

went in for a simple cyst explanation. he was clearly rushed, asked me the same question twice, i was looking for my mri results, i told him it was loading twice. he literally left the room. when i asked the nurse if i show her and was he coming back, he came back with an attitude and asked me to leave the office. his supervisor seems to have no problem with this either as she told me his report says i was yelling at him in the hallway; seeing as a nurse was standing there with me and was just as baffled by him as i was i was far from yelling, i was questioning him questioning my pain. literally asked "what makes you think its your kidney causing the pain" idk maybe the results of the mri or the pain i have in that area

I saw Dr. Fareed for a urinary problem. He suggested a TURP strongly and my wife agreed. The day of the procedure, I canceled. I am sure that that made him angry. I rescheduled, and regret it to this day. There were other options. Stay away from this angry man.
