I had gastric sleeve done my Dr. Ali in 2017. In 2022 when I was getting surgery to remove possible endometriosis, they found a staple in my uterus that was causing the pain I was suffering from. I fought since 2017 to get this pain diagnosed, everyone had said I it was normal & that I was overexaggerating the pain. Come to find it was all because he left a staple in me and it lodged into my uterus. I spent so much money trying to find the cause of my pain, and I can't do anything about it. Please do your research when choosing a doctor.

Respondent has subjected his Physician's and Surgeon's Certificate No. G 72359 to disciplinary action under sections 2227 and 2234, as defined by section 2234, subdivision (b), of the Code, in that he committed gross negligence in his care and treatment of Patient A ... who died, as did my best friend two weeks after he performed surgery on her.

I'm writing on behalf of Dr. Ali's 28-year old surgical patient who died under his care. The Medical Board of CA accused Dr. Ali of gross negligence and failure to maintain adequate and accurate records. The Medical Board's accusation and decision are public record; the case number is 800-2016-024460.
