List of Neil Soni's Reviews
I have been a patient with Dr. Neil Soni for over a year now and I have to say that the entire experience has been stellar. The staff is very diligent in answering questions and meeting patient needs, delightful as well. I recommend this practice, hands down the best! Thank you all.
I have been seeing Dr. Soni for a few years and I feel I need to find another Dr. He does have nice PA's. I don't feel heard though. When I have a lot of pain, he won't give me help and I can't go to the ER either so I sit home stuck miserable.
Dr. Neil Soni is the absolute BEST DR. Ever! He helped when, when I was just about to give up. I couldn’t find a descent pain management Dr. to save my life. Had been through about 10 when I was rushed to FV hospital for Emergency surgery and that’s when I met Dr. Soni! He’s beyond descent. I’m so lucky that he took me on as his patient. {{{{So Blessed}}}}. ❤️, TerryAnn
Dr. Soni was the answer to my prayers. I’ve been stuck with sucky pain management doctors because of my insurance. Finally a doctor that treats me like a real person. He explained more to me about my 2 surgeries than the surgeon himself. I’m so grateful for him. He is the “BEST”!!!
My name is Steve McInteer. You may be able to see a previous text I wrote about Dr. Neil Soni. I wrote many harsh things in my last review. Many of which are true about the whole opioid debacle we find ourselves in. Dr. Niel Soni and his team are in an extremely difficult place, as are we. We are very sick and feel like death with all kinds of different Hurts attached. Dr. Soni and his team have to figure out how to unravel this mess and get us out of this jackpot were in. This has really never happened before in this way. Basically the Government Dumpped this entire thing on the doctors. So now you have the Drs. having to play psychologist and pain specialist. Remember all people have a unique pain history. I myself am going to stop being so infuriated at the Drs. for everything that has happened to me in the past. I am going to work with them to understand me, my pain, and my unique situation. This is all we have and it's not pleasant but it can be done, it must be done. We need to accept that someone in this situation has to say no. For them not to say no now, will just cause this to happen all over again. We say, were so sick and miserable though? I'm going to tell you right now, the pills that Dr. Soni can give you is only half the prescription, unfortunately, the other half is more pain, for a while, not forever. If I could suggest some of the things that are helping me. Learn about your particular pain, become a professional about it. Don't wait for a special pill like the last one, it's not coming, even if he wanted to give it to you, he can't, the government says that he can't. I know, hard words. Lastly, I will tell you that praying for God's help changed everything. Hang in there and don't quit and remember this, even if you think that know one loves you and no one cares, Know, I love you and God loves you. (Pray and it will be ok) my brothers and sisters in pain, Pray ...... Steve McInteer
I have Been In withdrawals for 2 yrs. from an overprescribing Dr. at Kaiser. Verry sick from 16 years of OXY. I have been in the hospital several times in the last 6 months. Finally, after nearly passing, I called Dr. Soni The Pain Specialist. I had been messed with by these so-called pain specialists for the last 2 years. So I went to Soni and I explained very carefully my situation. Kaiser hurt me badly. I said this is what I'm taking now, he said I have some new meds. that will fix everything. He says it is not really an opiate. Turns out Buprenorphine is an opiate and is as hard to get off as OXY. I said I will do it if we can go back to my previous. I promise he says. when it didn't work and I wanted to go back no way. He gives me another med. without looking at what I take. This time he doubles my bipolar meds. and again an emergency again. I try another med they tell me to take. Last night my heart went crazy and my temp went up to 103. I spent all night in a cold bath. Now they won't give me my normal Rx. and I'm going into withdrawals again. Something is wrong here. I read the reviews. How can they do this? I thought I was never gonna see my wife again. I'm so sick. God Bless. Steve
have taken off work to see a doctor that most people were very happy with . I plan to report him to Medicare because I was not there seeking drugs I was there to make a plan that might help my constant pain. I plan to fire him because I already told him I have seen Orthopedic surgeons, had acupuncture, physical therapy nothing helped. The surgeons want to do surgery I get that but I do not want that. Why can't doctors just be doctors and LISTEN and try to live up to their oath Physician do no harm instead of assuming everyone is a drug seeker. Thanks for listening I doubt it will change my mind.
I have had the pleasure of having Doctor Neil Soni on my team of doctors for the past decade! Dr Soni is courteous, trustworthy, loyal, has the best bedside manner, takes his time with you, explains things to where anyone would understand. Best of all, each and every time I have been in the hospital he or one of his staff has come to visit me daily. He has been instrumental in my palliative care. Way to go Dr Soni keep up the good work! Oh yeah more importantly, I’ve been homeless for the past three years I’ve only had Medi-Cal insurance and he has seen me and is working with me on making payments to see him… His medical staff Has also supported me and worked with me financially.
Dr.Soni has been my pain Dr. for over 7 years and I think the world of him! He has helped me live a much better life and he’s never been judgmental or unkind ever, I don’t know what the 1 stars people are giving him, He gets A 5 star in my book all day long
Dr. Neil Soni has been a god send in helping my son with a severe pain problem for near 8 years. He has been most professional and a friend during these life preserving times. I can not conceive of a better pain Dr. His staff can be very busy at times but will work with you and insurance problems. 5 Stars

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
