List of Orange Coast Medical Center's Reviews
Please avoid any doctor in this building if you have to go by yourself or go one hour early to be able to park your car. The parking situation is disgusting. You can wait and turn round and round for over 45 minutes and still can’t get a space to park and make it on time to your appointment. The parking is so disgusting that they have a valet service like a hotel!!! They thought they built a top of the line building for their “customers” not patients but skipped a slightly big detail. PARKING! Creating enough parking spaces for patients must be a priority!!! I already told my doctor not to refer anyone there again.
Wonderful Medical Facility!! Hands down. Had surgery, spent the night and was never uncomfortable. From registering in the morning to leaving the next day, the entire process was seamless. Kudos to Memorial Care Orange Coast, other facilities should follow your business, treatment and customer care plan. Thank you all for absolute exceptional care.
I had my baby at the childbirth center and was next door with Dr. Wycoff for prenatal visits. The five stars is for both prenatal and the labor experience. At the prenatal visits, we saw mostly midwives and they always took the time to patiently answer any questions we had, as well as seeming personally interested and invested in both mine and my baby's health. I only had good experiences. The facility seemed clean and professional. I had one mostly painless cervix check performed by Dr. Wycoff at 39 weeks and a membrane sweep at 40+2 done by Patricia Evens, also mostly painless. At that time my baby's heart rate and amniotic fluid levels were low so they sent me to the childbirth center to be induced. Having read a prior review, I had already turned in paperwork by this time. The admitting process was extremely fast and the nurse Shannon was pretty amazing at helping us relax and get ready. They immediately started feeding me like I was in danger of starving. I think I gained 10lbs in the three days I was there- no joke. The anesthesiologist that did my epidural (had tattooed arms, can't recall his name), was competent and made me feel like he knew what he was doing. All of my nurses were pretty good (one was a little chatty about politics and I faked a little more pain than I felt so she would settle down). My labor ended up being close to 5 hours with the baby's heart rate dropping a couple of times. The Certified Nurse Midwife Pat Evens was probably the best thing to happen to us. She was so calm that it was difficult to worry too much with her there. The baby nurse was great, the post labor nurse was great (Katie?), and the lactation consultant Brooke is almost certainly not paid enough. If you are pregnant, do yourself and your baby a huge favor and take her class before the birth. Post partum we got our own room and my husband had his own bed. Overall I had a great pregnancy and labor experience. If I planned on a second baby, we'd come back for sure.
The parking at this hospital is a joke. I don't know why the city has approved it. It has way fewer parking spaces as necessary. How terrible the situation is? Come here in morning, even all shopping malls nearby are plagued. Today I had to park about 3 blocks away. There was simply nothing available, any self parking, any valet parking. And the hospital has done zero to improve the situation over last several years, but only continue building more offices.
Great hospital!
This place has the most unprofessional. It should not get any funding or be able to take anybody's medical insurance at all it should be shut down and be renamed and some real people should be running at that actually care about the people who actually go to the hospital. If you want real people with real answers. Go to hoag hospitals. Straight joke.
The nurses and staff always have exceptionally good bedside manner, especially when dealing with my grandma, who has dementia & doesn't follow directions and is basically nonverbal. The doctors are caring and listen to you, unlike the judgemental & dismissive experiences I've had at other hospitals.
This hospital is amazing. The staff is incredible. They treated me and my son very well. I had surgery there and Michelle, Tiffany and Sia ( i believe that's her name- i was kind of out of it were the best . They made me feel so comfortable, relaxed and genuinely cared .

I can only speak for your x-ray and MRI department. I originally went to the Anaheim area and was given a list of referrals for X-rays etc. Scheduling something with Wave imaging was a nightmare. So I decided to go to come here. It was further than the 3rd party X-ray place but I said what the heck. Let me say, the staff here is amazing and kind. They work with a sense of urgency and also make sure they give you time to answer any questions you may have. Come here if you don't want to deal with any 3rd parties. It will save you a ton of time!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
