IMPOSSIBLE TO GET APPOINTMENT. ON HOLD OVER AN HOUR EVERYTIME I CALL. AND WHEN THEY CALL BACK, RING ONCE & THEY HANG UP.
I called the office and they could not see me until more than a month but offered another appointment in another location half an hour drive from my home so I scheduled the appointment, on the day of appointment I got lost from the place so I was late about 10 minutes, the lady on the front desk told me you are late and the doctor cannot see me because I was late, I explained to her that I came from far distance but she said I will ask the nurse and then told me we cannot see you, I know I was late and being on time is important but I was so frustrated and upset that I had to drive all this distance to tell me to reschedule, I told them I am not going to reschedule and I am never coming back again to this group, I expected from them to have some sympathy and compassion, after all this is a health care service not a court appearance. in addition as if you are on time the doctor is going to see you on time, they will probably put on the room by yourself waiting for the doctor to see you for more that 15 minutes. my advise to others don't go to this place, they maybe good doctors but definitely lack one of the most important things in dealing with sick people; Compassion
I'm very disappointed with OCU's office staff. They don't return calls! I have left several messages with their phone system which says they will call you back. It's too bad because I see Dr. Bui who is a fantastic doctor!
My dad was sent to the ER and was referred to Orange County Urologists. I made an appointment a week out and gave them my dad's insurance information. Orange County Urologists waited six days (day before appointment) to let me know that they don't accept his insurance and canceled his appointment. My dad is in dire need of seeing a urologist and appointments are not easy to come by. Found this experience very unprofessional and cold.
I visited this office twice. The first visit was for a consultation and the second time was for a procedure. In both visits, the front office staff and nurses were more than welcoming and friendly. I had a couple of questions about my insurance and they were able to answer my questions accurately and quickly. On my second visit, I was quite nervous about my procedure, but the cordial and warm approach by the staff helped me ease my nerves. Dr. Bui was extremely professional and did a great job of informing me of the procedures my recovery steps.
Inept office staff. Checked with office on call to confirm I was in network, they said yes. Checked again in the office that I was in network, again they say yes and take the in-network specialist copay. Month goes by and I get an out of network bill. I call the billing office and they say yes we did tell you are in-network twice and took the in-network copay but we don't really verify your policy other than it is active. They tell me I signed the form promising payment even though I told them I promised paying an in network provider and did everything I can to make sure outcome was different. Their argument is that they told me I was in network twice but I should have done more homework? They are not accountable
Doctor Tammy Ho is awesome! Along with all her associates. My first surgery was a success and extremely grateful. I feel lucky to have such a talented team of doctors helping me through my kidney issues.
Scheduling staff is poorly trained. I've called them 3 times today and get a different answer each time. The second time I called , I was told to get the authorization number from my primary doctor office as they couldn't find it in their "system". I called my primary doctor , got the auth # and confirmed it was approved. I then called back to to Dr Bui's group scheduling number and was yet again denied setting up an appointment. That girl hen said it has to be in their"system" and that I could not provide them with an authorization number . Apparently not all of their reps are trained equally on their policies . Thanks OC Urologists, I'll wait in pain with my baseball sized renal cyst until your "system" has my authorization number. I can't even schedule an appt as a cash patient. Completely ridiculous!
Dr Karran Singh is one of the worst doctors I have ever interacted with. He showed absolutely no patient care, compassion, or knowledge. He saw me for about 5 mins after waiting for an hour only to tell me he wasn't going to test me or address any of my health concerns. Seeing this doctor was disappointing and simply put... a waste of my time. If you take you take your health seriously and want it to be in good hands.. please go elsewhere.
Dr Don Bui is fantastic, I cannot say enough good things. He has great compassion considering the tough job he has. I would whole heartedly recommend him and OCUA as the place to go for care

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
