Dr Pyrko is wonderful I feel like I have a new leash on life. I am only a month out of surgery for total hip replacement and I feel like a new person. I am 53 and was surprised to learn I needed hip replacement as my dad was in his 70's when he had it done. I am so glad I went ahead instead of struggling for years. Thank you Dr Pyrko.

Dr. Pyrko did a terrific job explaining the details of my recent surgery as well showing me images of my new hip implant. Very cool stuff and very clearly explained. Feel great ... thank you Dr. Pyrko!

I the greatest respect for Dr. Pyrko and his staff. They are very polite professional and respectful. I have a wonderful experience every time I go. There's never a long wait. Dr. Pyrko has a deep concern about his patients he explain the importance of your surgery and your needs. I always leave and have no concerns it's nice to have a doctor who really cares about you. My mother visited Dr. Pyrko's office for a knee replacement procedure in March 2021. She is thankful for the care and services Dr. Pyrko and his staff provided her before, during, and after the surgery. She has been walking everyday, attending her physical therapy, and has recovered quite well. I was referred to Dr Pyrko by my primary care doctor. I needed a left hip replacement - my right hip was replaced seven years ago by another surgeon. On my first visit to Dr Pyrko, x rays were taken and he took a lot of time explaining the damage to my hip and what type of surgery he would do. He told me how long to expect recovery to take and answered all of my questions. Prior to the surgery date I received information from his office and all of the tests I needed before hand were either scheduled or explained to me. I had the surgery four weeks ago and everything went great. Dr Pyrko came to see me in pre-op and again in post-op, which hasn't always happened for me with prior surgeries. He even showed me a picture of my new hip in a photo of the x ray on his phone! He also phoned me himself the next day which I thought was very caring and not typical of all doctors. My recovery has been so much better and faster than it was for my other hip replacement. I even returned to my part time job after only eight days! I would (and actually already have) recommend Dr Pyrko to anyone needing hip replacement surgery.

After 2 1/2 years of increasing pain and loss of movement (including a prior doctor who treated me for a year without admitting he didn’t “do hips”), and in the midst of the pandemic, I was fortunate enough to be referred to Dr. Peter Pyrko who performed a total right hip replacement on an out-patient basis! From the initial consultation, I was confident that I had finally found the right doctor. He is thorough in his explanations, more than willing to answer questions, and his is the kind of confidence and competence that you want in a medical professional. Two weeks after the surgery, I folded up my walker and put it away. Five weeks after surgery I was walking without even a cane. Now, six months after the surgery, everything is working beautifully. There are no words to express how grateful I am to get my life back. I would recommend Dr. Pyrko to anyone who is thinking about orthopedic surgery. The staff at the hospital had gushed about him and said he’s the best. They were absolutely right, in my opinion. Thank you Dr. Pyrko

I've been seeing Dr. Pyrko professionally for over a year now. I am a retired professional athlete whose knees are now paying for the abuse as a high-level athlete and sports enthusiast.Dr. Pyrko and I had a very in-depth discussion about knee replacement surgery and what to expect. I found his opinion very succinct and honest. I highly value his opinion and took his advice to heart. He is undoubtedly one the best orthopaedists around and has a great sense of humor to boot. His staff and assistants are the best, simply put. I would definitely recommend Dr. Pyrko to everyone.
