Very Unprofessional Patient Care The surgery was scheduled for 3:00 am on a Thursday morning. The morning of the surgery the medical staff at the front desk was licking their fingers while turning the pages you were required to sign before surgery. That is so unprofessional for anyone let alone a surgery center. Come surgery time I never even saw Mr. Ramy. He didn’t visit me before the surgery nor after the surgery. He didn’t even call my emergency contact to let them know how the surgery went. I have no idea if he even did the surgery. Fast forward to the two week follow up and Mr. Ramy at most spent 3 minutes with me. I didn’t even have time to ask any questions. I’ve never felt so dismissed. To make matters worse the receptionist that was licking her fingers and turning the pages surgery day was the same person that removed my stitches during the two week follow up. Is that even legal? I would definitely look for a different orthopedic surgeon!

Dr. Elias has been my Ortho since 2006. I was once over 325lbs and had all kinds of knee pains. At one time, I played ball in college which caused much of my pain plus being overweight. Dr. Elias was kind and not judgmental. Knowing surgery was not one of my favorite ideas he would work with me give me suggestions, therapy, and treat me in a way so I could lose the weight I needed to be healthy. I am finally at a point where I have to call Uncle and get a knee replacement. But I am now 125 lbs. lighter and have full confidence that Dr. Elias will do a good job. We talked about the pros/cons in length and feel that I am making a good decision. Mostly because this was not a decision that was made quickly. We have been talking about this procedure for a while and we both came to the decision that it is finally time. Nancy and the rest of his staff have been great. Easy to speak with and are truly advocates for their patients.

Dr Elias changed my world. For 7 years after suffered from a knee replacement. Finally I could not walk. He took on my case, not knowing the outcome I do believe in miracles he completed a right knee revision. I’m pain free. Still healing but I can walk. Thank you
