I had shoulder surgery. Was not told about recovery time. Had no idea it would be 912 mo. He never had surgery report in file on my 2 aftercare appointments. Finally after 4 months after surgery, I had to call the surgery center and get my own surgery report. That’s when I found out he had put a screw in my arm. My appointments with hi we’re literally 5?minutes long. He flat out lied to my mom and I. Worst experience ever. Didn’t put me into physical therapy until the 12th week postop. I have since seen a new doctor. I now have frozen shoulder. They charge you to do Disability papers. Under my insurance you cannot do that. Everything about this experience was awful. Don’t have him perform surgery on you. Find another doctor!!! Trust me!

Blanks is a bad doctor. Before surgery, he told me that I would be using crutches only for 2 weeks, but when I went to his office after 2 weeks, he told me that I have to use the crutches for at least 2 months. I couldnt work for 3 months!!! Now after 4 months, I still have pain in my knee!!! He told me that I might need to do another surgery. He doesnt care that Im not able to work, he just cares about himself to do some surgery and get the money.

Dr. Blanks is unquestionably the best there is. I had injured my knee in a soccer game, tore all my ligaments except one and my cartilages. Dr. Blanks and his great physical therapist told me that they would get me back into the field and thats exactly what they did. They did such an outstanding job that not only did I felt confident to go back to playing soccer, I felt like in I never had an injury. It was hard at first but with the great support from his staff I was able to get through with a positive outlook. When I felt like something was hard for me to do they encouraged me and made me feel like they truly believed in me. Now, not only have I gone back to just soccer, I have also joined indoor soccer which is more of a contact sport than outdoor. That is exactly how confident I feel with my knee. I would not recommend anybody else. He is the best!
