I really like Dr. Dang. He was thorough, had a personable demeanor, and gave great explanations to my many questions about Dad's care. Front desk seemed to be short staffed, as we waiting a good 15 min or more before anyone greeted us or gave us paperwork to sign. I would suggest emailing new patient packets to new patients when they book that first appointment, to save time and front desk congestion. The front desk girl was very accommodating, however, once she returned to the front desk. I really liked all the signs in the lobby and exam rooms that communicated information about to preclude med refill issues which are a common headache for patients.

The worst doctor. Rude attitude and terrible working manner. Put together all of your worst fears and nightmares about doctors and it is Dr. Dang. Unfortunately, this "doctor" still "works". Word of advice, he should probably leave the medical profession now, Dang doesn't care about the field and gives doctors a bad reputation.

I feel very fortunate working with Dr. Dang. My health has improved dramatically after his care. Proper follow up and easy to follow care instructions.

Unfortunately I can't give a good review on this clinic. I went there as I was supposed to be treated from a health problem, instead they didn't answer my phone or call me back to schedule an appointment with Dr.Dand or his assistant. even when I requested a substitute of a medicine because of bad side effects. they totally ignored my request. my experience with this clinic is so bad.

Dr. Dang is a very nice person, is knowledgeable and is a good doctor. However, getting a response to any question from him or Balboa Nephrology Group is well nigh impossible. He says that he doesn't use the patient portal that Balboa provides to communicate with the doctors so that they can read the messages and respond at THEIR convenience and that I should call. However, when I call, either the office staff never forwards the message or he never responds, I am not sure which. If you are satisfied with just going to the office for your visits and never have concerns or questions outside of those visits, then I am sure that Dr. Dang will be great.

Excellent Dr., great bedside manner, organized, efficient and explains course of action and reasons. Lucky to have been placed in his care at Hoag Hospital.

Dr. Dang is thorough, succinct and explains his course of action and the reasons for it in understandable terminology. He gave my husband an update daily when he was in the hospital and followed up when he was released. We feel fortunate to have been assigned to his care at Hoag.
