List of David C Gorsulowsky's Reviews
Dr. Gorsulowsky has been good to me! Great teaching skills, don’t have to wait very long, staff nice! Receptionist “Ben” is very helpful to me on the phone, attentive & caring. Thankful to you all in my times of need!
Being answered on Speakerphone and then announcing my problems to the entire office doesn't work for me. He may be a fine doctor but the staff needs to add a touch of professionalism.
Dr. Gorsulowsky is by far one of the best doctors I have ever had. In a time of need he showed more compassion than anyone could hope for. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and cares for his patients. I haven't seen him in years, but am about to make an appointment to see him, and have no doubts as to the quality o9f care I will receive. God bless this man for his true concern for his patients.
Best Doctor I have without a doubt. Dr Gorsulowsky is the most thorough doctor I have, he cares about me and his other patients like we’re family......Mark Cantley
First, i have so far been to this Doctor 3 times. I had benign skin cancer on my temple and my upper right ear. Dr. Gorsulowsky almost makes surgery fun. First you know exactly what is happening. He knows you want to know so he informs you as he makes progress. My ear surgery needed two surgeries. It seemed after surgery one he got all of it. But after the lab results, he knew a tiny bit was still there. So not to take a chance, he got that as well. If you enjoy being informed as he makes progress and clear instructions, you will enjoy this. As to time to wait in the waiting room. This last time took about 50 minutes of waiting. Prior visits were faster from waiting room to his patients treatment rooms. My normal doctor is much faster at seeing patients. "Not as good at explaining as he goes along. A few more minutes seems okay when you get this good of treatment. He is the second dermatologist I have seen in Fremont. And I only saw the other 2 times and had no problems with waiting on him when I came to the appointment. I have to see this doctor in about a week and will try to add more information. As to treatments, I think you will feel you were treated well.
Dr. Gorsulowky gives his undivided ttention to your medical needs. You feel like you are the only one being seen in his office that day. He is patient, explains in language you can understand what the issue is, and plans on how to address it.
I am a Kaiser patient, but chose to see Dr. David Gorsulowsky because of his excellent patient reviews, and I am SO glad I did !! He has a world of experience and unending knowledge about everything pertaining to the human anatomy !! Yes he’s a fabulous dermatologist, but he has a keen eye to catch issues before they become big problems further down the road ! He told me that he felt that I was losing bone in my lower jaw, so I contacted my doctor at kaiser to have a DEXA SCAN done, and my doctor said that my results were “ normal ?” Then I had a dental appt. a few weeks later, and the x-ray of my lower jaw showed significant bone loss !! So, the doctors I see all the time at kaiser missed this, plus their diagnosis of my bone scan being normal, in my opinion was not accurate .........and the dermatologist I only see maybe 3 times a year caught this right away !!?? That to me is worth a million !! Ever since Dr. Gorsulowsky caught this deficiency I have been taking organic calcium. Having bone loss as you age, and having your regular doctors telling you that your bone density is NORMAL, when it isn’t in my opinion is very dangerous !! Bone loss in women causes many problems as we age, with respect to fractures, and long stays in the hospital, which in turn will cost thousands over the long run. I should have been taking a calcium supplement years ago, but kaiser kept telling me my bone density was fine ! Well it’s always great to get a 2nd opinion, and in this case Dr. Gorsulowsky has saved me from an inaccurate diagnosis from my personal doctor and more than likely from winding up in a wheel chair as an older adult !! To me, that shows me that Dr. Gorsulowsky has that great instinct & a great eye to catch things before they become problematic !! And a great doctor to me is worth a million !! Plus I love his staff ! Great personalities and they are friendly and very efficient. And Dr. Gorsulowsky is always patient and very kind, and was even continued seeing his patients with a horrible back injury. This poor doctor working in constant pain, and still trying to be the best doctor for each and every one of his patients. I have already told Dr. Gorsulowsky that the day he retires is going to be a very sad day to all of the men and women who love and depend on his expertise !!
Extremely long wait times
Dr. Gorsulowsky is one of the most competent doctors I have ever met. If other doctors could learn his bed side manner, they would be better off. He listens to everything you say and checks things twice. He treats my wife and I and we are so blessed to have him. David is a "true rock star".
Great Dermatologist. The most caring doctor you'll ever meet. Thorough in his exams for skin cancer and other skin disorders. He runs a professional dermatology practice - is not about selling beauty lotions and "tonics" (none in office to buy). I highly recommend Dr. Gorsulowsky.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
