Dr. Nord was excellent at every step of the process. He is a skilled surgeon and very personable. After every encounter, I realized how fortunate I was to have him as my surgeon. I never felt rushed during any appointment. My hip is now pain free.

When looking for an orthopedic surgeon, Dr Russell Nord checks all the boxes.(Personally, when seeking a surgeon,I don't care about bedside manner, I just want to find an experienced surgeon who knows the procedure and has the results to back it up.) Dr Nord and his staff were all very friendly, efficient, and they truly care about their patients.I had severe arthritis in the LH knee, with many layers of scar tissue from 7 previous surgeries over the last 22 years. With his knowledge and expertise, he knew it would be a challengjng surgery, so he scheduled extra time for the operating room and brought a 2nd surgeon to assist. And indeed, it took 45 minutes extra, just to remove the scar tissue,(the most he's ever seen), just to get thru to perform the knee replacement.Today, 8 months post surgery, my knee is PAIN FREE, and I now have over 30 degrees more range of motion!I can mountain bike, walk, & play golf with zero pain.So yes, I would highly recommend Dr Russell Nord to anyone looking for an orthopedic surgeon who truly cares about his patients.

Dr Nord not only confirmed what I already suspected about having a tear in my rotator cuff, but he also gave really good advice about how I show treat it moving forward. And it wasn't just about surgery as the only option. Highly intelligent and skilled physician...Excellent bedside manner!!
