Hanh-Nguyen Do's Online Review Report Card

Save your time and sanity and don't even call these guys:- I called to schedule an appointment and the receptionist said it's illegal to allow me to pay cash before I qualify for Medi-Cal (it's not).- I called Medi-Cal and they confirmed that I can have an appointment.- I called Dr. Do's office back and the receptionist says she called Medi-Cal and they said it was illegal. I ask if we can call together and she said she'll call me back in a few hours when she's less busy. She doesn't.- I called Medi-Cal the 2nd time and asked for the specific law provision to show that it's legal.- I printed out the law provision and went to Dr. Do's office in person and they decided to give me an appointment.- The receptionist checks with Dr. Do and says that Dr. Do's schedule is full so she can't deliver the baby. We respond that that's okay, but we still want the first appointment.- We show up to find that they canceled the appointment without telling us.As a healthcare expert, I'm persistent because I know what I can and cannot do, but these guys are amateur hour. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Dr Do recently delivered my baby 7 months back and I couldn't thank her enough for pleasant experience i had with her throughout my pregnancy. She is very genuine and really cares about her patients. I don't know what's up with the bad reviews, I have been going to her since last few years and I am so glad she is my OBGYN. I had vaginal birth, she didn't even pushed me once for C-section or anything that would be bad for baby. She never rushed me through the appointments. If i happen to have another one in future, she would be the one i would trust. I highly recommend her and her clinic. Her front end nurse is very sweet too.

She took the time to listen to me . Not in a hurry. Explained very well. Did not ask for un necessary tests.

I called to make an appointment since she is accepting new patients. Her receptionist put me on hold about three times 5-7 minutes each. She asked me multiple PERSONAL questions that are usually asked by your physician during your first appointment. (Example about every previous pregnancy, health history, dates of all events etc) between each hold as if she was relaying it back to someone. I told her my due date and she replied she'd have to make sure the doctor was available the month of my due date.. I thought that was odd but whatever. She called back a few hours later asking me if I was planning a vaginal or c section since my first was a csection but my second was a VBAC I told her vaginal and she said she needed to put me on hold to find the next appointment but instead she comes back and asks where I gave birth the second time and for them to fax over my VBAC Information now I'm wondering.. I haven't even seen this doctor why would I need all of this in order to get a simple first appointment?!!! I ask her if all these questions and everything is a requirement for the doctor to decide if she ants to have me as a patient and she says yes so I told her I'm not interested anymore. You haven't even met me and you have your receptionist acting like I'm auditioning. I can't even get an appointment until I tell you ALL MY BUSINESS and even fax you information you don't need until I'm seen. It's like she wanted to make sure it's not too complicated when I've already had a VBAC. Both babies are healthy, I have no health issues and yet they still are trying to make sure it's not too complicated. So disrespectful and JUDGEMENTAL. She shouldn't even be in business.

She takes her time explaining everything with you .she always has made me feel at ease with being pregnant.At my delivery she was very calming and my delivery was very difficult.

Dr. Do was so there for me during my pregnancy. She answered all my silly questions without making me feel crazy which was nice. She took her time with each appointment. She was very calming during my delivery which was very difficult.

Hanh Do has been my physician for years and she is all about money. She won't see you until you pay the copay visit. She doesn't accept credit card and only cash so she can save $ on tax. She will make you to go ATM to take out cash and come back see her for the appointment. She is very shallow and when she talks to you, she will pretend and show she cares. I was on birth control and every time I visit her yearly. I updated her for my partner status and everything. When I visit her every time, you still with your partner right? I said "No, I wasn't with him for past year 6 years!" She will be like oh that's right I forgot about it then she asked the same questions on every exam. That's how she cares about her patients than money! Her assistant Jenny is the same! She will talk to you like you are her employee. I wish I can give this office 0 Star!And she will make you multiple visits something that she could have done in one visit. One time I got phone call from her pet Jenny, you owe money $25 copay. I was like I already paid, Do won't see any patients until you paid her first! Jenny said this is another copay for you asking questions on your annual visit WTF!!!

I've had both my babies delivered by Dr.Do, and can't imagine having babies delivered by anyone else. My pregnancies were high risk snd she was great the entire time. I feel she is genuinely concerned with her patient's well being and is very cautious with her approach.Not only is she a great doctor, but, a great person. I actually enjoy my appointments with her. Oh! And I love Jenni, her receptionist! She's the sweetest!

Worst OBGYN doctor office that we ever encounter. We had a total of 3 child and out of the 3 doctors, Dr Hang Do is the most irresponsible one. This is a honest review of our experience with the doctor from the very beginning of the pregnancy to postpartum. First things that's very wrong with this office is the tendency to cancel your appointment. During our period with Dr. Do, 5 of our appointments got cancelled last minute and 2 additional time we show up to our appointment and no one is in the office. Seriously, the office is close and you didn't bother to notify your patents? A word of advice to those that decide to choose Dr. Do for your doctor, make sure you call the office a day before and the day of your appointment to make sure the doctor will see you at your appointment. Also DO NOT I repeat DO NOT rely on the doctor to remember how far along you are, what test need to be done, or any special need that you may have. During our 39 wks visit, Dr. Do didn't even remember that my wife is 39 wks into the pregnancy, wtf? A test was supposed to be done on that visit but was not done because the doctor didn't know how many weeks along my wife is. You guy probably thinking why didn't we remind her. First off, it is her responsibility to know and to perform test accordingly to the timeframe of the pregnancy. Secondly we actually did remind the doctor on that visit. But still the test wasn't done. It was crowded that day and the doctor was rushing so her response was "ohh we can do the test the next visit" which is one week from that visit. My wife end up in the hospital giving birth before her next appointment came around. Another irresponsible incident we encountered is 6 weeks after the delivery of our baby. My wife has gestational diabetes and need to do a blood work at 6 weeks after giving birth. Well during our postpartum visit we remind Dr. Do, because we can't trust her, that my wife need blood work in 2 weeks and that we need the blood work order. Dr. Do said "ok i will send the blood work order digitally". 6th week came around and we went to the lab. Got in line and waited an hour before we were told the doctor didn't send in the order for the blood work. WT* is wrong with this doctor. I am extremely piss off, mostly at myself for choosing such an irresponsible doctor to care for my wife during the pregnancy. Lucky for us the pregnancy had no complications and we had experience from the 2 previous child, so the mother and baby are healthy. If you guy happen to be reading this message, i would not recommend trying Dr. Do out. (We did and it wasn't pleasant and we REGRET it everyday).

The best thing I like about this Dr. that she never rush you in and take good time to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. She is a good doctor. I had an infection that needed to be treated asap and she was able to get me in for appointment even though she was fully booked which i really appreciate. I would recommend her to everyone.
