List of James S. Song's Reviews
Dr Song implanted IOL in both eyes two years ago. Results could not be better, nearly 20/20 for both distant and near . Office is well run with emphasise on precision . Dr Song is always intent on teaching staff, double checks work and uses best instruments and practices for excellent results.
My mom has been visiting this place for many years. The office is poorly managed, the wait time could be as long as 3-4 hours even if there is an appointment time. This makes is extremely difficult for seniors. The Doctor is often rushed, spent minimum time on the patient, and with non-professional attitude.
Worst doctor ever! Very rude! He suspected I had covid despite the fact that I did covid test as they asked and the result being negative, and I had covid already one month ago. He insisted I should do a test in a hospital. He wanted me to wear double masks even when I was already wearing a N95 mask the staff gave me. All of this happened before he even started to look at my eyes and diagnose my eye problem. Claerly he's only interested in protecting himself against possible covid! No sympathy for the patient at all!
Dr. Song is nice but the wait time is way too long! Do expect to spend 1~2 hours for the visit. 宋醫師還不錯但看診要等非常久!平均每次得花上1~2小時,真的很離譜。
Sorry to say if you are visiting this facility it means your 2-3 hours didn't go anywhere. Wait time always so long that you feels like leave and go. Don't know why but always long long wait i guess they over book patients! Staff is nice!
My mother-in-law had a thorough routine exam of her eyes. We had spent more than two hours in Dr. Song's fully equipped office using a variety of machines and tools to perform different tests. The machines were not always operated by the same techicians so we had to interact with several staff members. But I must say that ALL of them were young, energetic, caring and polite, not to mention that Dr. Song himself was knowledgeable and explained things in a simple way that was easy to understand.
The wait time was too looooong! They're totally overbooked. Spent 2.5 hours there, didn't get a chance to ask a question, because they were too busy.
Dr. Song is an excellent ophthalmologist. He is very caring and attentive to patients. My mom did a cataract procedure with him, and he checked in often to make sure her recovery was ok. He also called the night before the procedure to make sure she was fully prepared. And he also called the night after the procedure with detailed instructions on how to care for the eye and to check in how she was feeling. The procedure was a success, and her eyes are both fully fixed now because he was very accurate and detailed in his procedure. We highly recommend Dr Song.
Good doctor
Dr. Song is an exceptional ophthalmologist. He provides very detailed examinations, diagnosis, and treatment options. The staff are qualified and quite nice, too. I highly recommend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
