List of Norcal Imaging - Fremont's Reviews
Went here today to get some X-rays done. Such a quick and easy place to do this, I was surprised. I think in total I was there for maybe 20 mins, maybe even less. Staff including the woman who checked me in and the woman that performed the X-ray were super nice and friendly. Had a nice conversation with the lady up front at the desk :) I usually don't enjoy stuff like this, I mean who likes going to the doctors right? But I had a really positive experience so I thought I'd give a review. Also everyone is following Covid rules. Thanks to the lovely staff!!
This review is not necessarily for NorCal imaging, but for the excellent customer service I received from Raelynn. She was so professional, kind, and helpful, even going the extra mile to help me make last minute changes to my images. Much appreciated! It's because of her that I'm not writing a review for less stars since I've been here waiting for a 4 o'clock appt for over 30 mins so far, and I arrived early to complete the paperwork.
Communication with patients is very slow. If you select email or phone they will never communicate any updates. We have to call them over phone every time, wait for an hour to get response.
Absolutely wonderful staff and radiologist! Friendly and professional..went in for MRI & Fluoroscopy.
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! I scheduled appointment with them a week ago for 8:30 am on Saturday. I arrive 15 min before my scheduled time. I'm told by the front desk that my appointment is at 3:30 pm. I they messed up my appointment. The lady at the front desk tells me to wait and she said she will add me to the wait list. No details on how long would the wait is. So I wait. I went there for ultrasound appointment and they had asked me drink plenty of water an hour before the appointment. So now my bladder is full is about to burst. I ask the front desk around 9 am (after waiting for 45 mins) how long do I've to wait. I can't hold any longer. To that the lady told me use bathroom and drink more water. Which sounds like there is another hour or more long wait. I was done with their BS and got out of there after waiting for 1 hr. This place is a mess and do not know how to manage appointments. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Go at your own risk if you are willing to spend your entire day with them.
This facility looses referrals regularly. Even doctor offices knows and so they recommend carrying the referralX-ray does not require any appointments. Even though the office opens at 8AM they do not register anyone for x-ray until 8:30 AM PST. Nowhere on their website this is mentioned
This letter is in response to your request for a review of service provided on November 9, 2021. I could not use the podium.com.Norcal Rad created a sonogram of my kidneys. My sonographer did not identify herself, but she completed the examination in about 20 minutes (perhaps sooner) and was very pleasant. I have had at least a dozen sonograms performed for various reasons; this was the first with Norcal Rad, which was unique in that the gel applied to my skin was warm and the technician removed the gel from my skin after she completed each scan. At other laboratories, the gel was applied cold and, instead of removing the gel, technicians gave me a bunch of paper towels and left the room.
Had a Monday afternoon appointmentReceived a Monday morning phone message that the appointment had to be changed. I am flexible and realize that things happen. I call to reschedule and am put on hold for 15 minutes. Did they forget about me? I hung up and called again. Told the person that I was returning their call for a reschedule. I was on hold for another 15 minutes before someone finally answered. I was told that the technician was out sick. Not a problem. Things happen. They have an opening on Wednesday at 2:45 and to come 30 minutes early. I go to the door that has the correct number on it. Right inside is the Nor Cal suite # 150. There is a sign that says Do not enter, employees only, and to use the door near Bart. Where is that? No arrows nothing that says to go to the right. There is not a walkway to get there, you must walk out in the parking lot behind the parked cars. I guess it is just to much trouble to warn people of this new procedure when the appointment is made. I walk in to register for my appointment. The receptionist cannot find it. I tell her that this was a re-schedule from Monday for Wednesday. She tells me that the appointment is for November 8th, which is a Monday. I said no, it was rescheduled for today and that week in November was not doable. She said she could schedule it for later in that week. What part of that week in November is not good, do you not understand? I told her to cancel my appointment and I will get back to them. I will be scheduling my procedure at Washington Hospital. Am I supposed to trust Nor Cal Imaging? SORRY, YOU WILL NEVER TOUCH MY BODY. EVER!
Was able to get an appointment for MRI scan in a week. I got done in 30 mins. Staff is super friendly, caring and understanding. They are following all Covid precautions including patients to be 6ft away and also everyone is in mask.
My father had an MRI for brain as nd ultrasound for his carotid arteries. Fathema MRI tech made sure, he feels alright throughout his procedure. I am forgetting name of intern doing ultrasound. She didn't know my father suffers from dementia. She asked my father his date of birth. He replied 4th of July, 1949..She was amazed how patriotic he is! Lol!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
