Dr. JollyBack in April 2018, my brother had a bad heart problem, after a week in the hospital all doctor agreed in a heart open surgery. We met With Dr. Jolly he was on time and on the point he took the time and explained everything answers all our concerns. The operation took eight hour and after that the Doctor took the time and the efforts to talk to us and explain the post-op expectation and the need to be done to care for my brother. Dr. Jolly came to see him everyday till his discharged from the hospital he also called to check on him while he was at homeMy brother is in much better health because of everything Dr.Jolly did and we highly recommend him as an excellent surgeon and a caring person

Only time will tell on the outcome of my brother's 5 way bypass, but I absolutely was blown away with the level of dedication and caring for Dr. Jolly 's patients. He and the staff at Washington have been WONDERFUL. They've kept the family apprised and given unwavering attention. My brother is receiving excellent care.

My grandfather, went through open heart surgery with Dr. Jolly and he was very accommodating. He provided excellent care before and during the surgery. He explained everything carefully beforehand and was great at following up after. The surgery went smoothly, and my grandfather is recovering very well.

The Honorable Dr, Shashank Jolly & his Team is an Heavenly Angle for Heart Surgery Patients, He always keeps a Positive & encouraging attitude, with a helping hand guidance, towards his Patients, He will come & visit the patient as many times as the Patient required. So he is always on Back and Call of the ailing patients. The Kind, Soft, Polite & encouraging words of a Doctor to the Patient builds his/her MORALE to face the Emergency and works Great, more than a Medicine, Hope the follow-up experience of mine will be much more better, as compared to Operative & CCU experience.

Dr. Jolly is at the top of Excellence. The after surgery appointments are always on schedule. My questions of conern are answered and explained in full detail, never rushed and in understandable language. I am very pleased.Office staff is friendly, phone calls and emails are always promptly returned.I am so blessed to have had Dr. Jolly as my Bypass surgeon, and I highly recommend him.

I don't know why u would come to yelp to look up doctor ratings, can't say I meet many heart surgeon to do a comparison like comparing a bow of pho either, but got to say if my dad's still alive after a 11 hr long transplant surgery, and is walking now.... I am grateful.Our surgery got bumped a few times at last minutes, but that is to be expected when other patient got more critical condition needs the attention at the hospital. When my mom had her emergency a few years ago with something else, we have to bump off a few other patients on the waiting list too. Dealing with 2 aged parents, am pretty happy with most of Washington Hospitals doctors in general

This is way over due, but I am still so very impressed with Dr. Jolly! A couple years ago he was the surgeon on my mom's triple by-pass. We could not have had any better luck then to have him as the surgeon!!! His bedside manners, his skill, his personality, friendliness just everything about the man was impressive. If you are considering him for a surgery, rest well that you are in great hands!! Our sincere thanks to you Dr. Jolly for all of your care and comfort....

I had a congested heart failure when admitted to the Washington Hospital ER. Turned out that all my heart arteries were blocked, 100%, 95%, 92% and 92% respectively, and on top of this, a leaky valve. Normal heart would have 65% efficiency. Mine was working at 20% efficiency! To make a long story short, Dr. Jolly performed a quadruple bypass and replaced the leaky valved for me. It was a nine hour operation! In three weeks, I was discharged from the hospital. Today is the beginning of the 6th week, I drove and walked by myself without assistance. During all this time, I had no pain and no complication.I must disagree with the single star review about Dr. Jolly's commitment to his patient. He would call the CCU nurse at 5:30 AM, before he started his next operation, to check on my stats; and then came by personally to check up on me! I was very touched by his total commitment to the well being of me! The last time that I can recall someone who took such length to ensure that I got well was by my mom when I was in my younger days. I am now 68 years old!Thank you, Dr. Jolly, not just for your excellent skill as a surgeon, but also as a person full of kindness, warmth and humanity!
