So the only reason I come here is for Dr. Laser. He is a Saint! Other than that the "rules for counseling " are absolutely ridiculous!! They act like natzis when you miss a session and hold your medication from you until you put in your hour wait time. It's got to be illegal, besides you would think the goal would be to make patients want to come here for the medication assisted treatment not push then away over the hard core counseling stipulations!? I'm like for real frustrated with it already and I have only been back for less than a week. I know from past experience that it in fact doesn't get easier at all...medmark is way more lax

Great place for recovery the Nurses & Doctors are wonderful. I absolutely enjoy going every morning to Dose because the Nurses make you feel welcomed.  There never is any type of drama going on within the Center.

Today was my first day of being seen and treated. I was very nervous but the staff and Dr made my visit feel very comfortable. I wasn’t judged or looked at a certain way. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who needs treatment. They really are welcoming. I’m looking forward to accomplishing my goal at this place!

As a counselor, I have observed many clients of this clinic recover from addiction and go on to a more productive life. This clinic is not perfect by any means, but it has made a positive difference in the lives of many people. I can honestly say that first hand.  I have to admit that the pay is not at the level of other clinics for any staff member. I have a Masters degree and 20 years experience and I make $18 an hour, not near the compensation I have earned with the education and experience I have. The work hours could be better and more flexible and more overtime could also be offered.  We have excellent staff here in Fresno, an excellent physician, caring nursing staff, great counselors, hard-working medical assistants, and supportive management staff. Even with our weaknesses (from my side of things anyway), I would recommend this clinic to anyone seeking treatment for addiction and I would also recommend this clinic to anyone (nurse, medical assistant, counselor) seeking employment in this field. It is a place that will make a positive difference in your life either way.

New director that I previously posted meant that a new director is there now than when I was there sometime ago. I had problems then I hope its better now with the new director.

Ive been coming to Aegis since February 1, 2001 except for a few years living in a different city. Before I moved back to Fresno I called an made an appointment. Unfortunately I missed 1 day because of traveling so I had to earn my bottles again. I've got 6 take homes and am waiting for my 13. I am editing my review because of my experirnce here with COVID 19. 2 weeks ago I went in and their computer system was down. No one got take homes so I went back the next day and computers were fixed but the line was around the block. Most of us waited 2 hours on the hottest day of the week. Tempers flared. Staff were telling patients to keep our masks on but it really was hard in the heat. Finally we all got dosed and got our take homes. Hopefully the kinks will get straightened out.

They really do care and work with you

I saw a comment on here that says Alexa is a great counselor, if it’s the same Alexa NO WAY my husband had her for about 8 months he started telling me about his conversations with her and she mostly talked about herself after about 7 months she seemed to start getting flirty and then crossed a HUGE boundary with him which a counselor should NEVER do she knew what she was doing even said don’t tell your wife I told you this. So of course he switched counselors. Anyway other than her it’s definitely a good place for treatment and things are going great with his new counselor so far she doesn’t at all sound like his last one thank goodness.
