Anila Thampy's Online Review Report Card

Very friendly and skillful staff. Our autistic daughter has been there quite a lot and had her fair amount of shots. Despite her dislike of the shots she still goes there happily. Miss Anila Thampy is a gem. Best pediatrician we've ever met.

I can see that most of the good reviews of this practice are at least a couple of years old. Things have changed! They are good at fitting you in but fail to inform you that the wait time will be longer than an hour. They have always seemed to have a hard time managing their business day. I think Dr Thampy caters more to the much younger child. I found her to be quite condescending And not much of a "bed side manner". My children were never fond of her or their experiences. I'm sorry it took me so long to come to this realization.

As a first time mom I want the upmost care for my son but that's exactly what this entire practice has not shown him or my family. I called to schedule an emergency appointment because my son had a very high fever among a few other symptoms and was promised I'd at least get a call back from Dr. Thampy. I waited a few hours and nothing so I called again and was told she was very busy and again she would give me a call. The day is over and no call and no appointment. The next day I call again same receptionist Angie said she would text Dr. Thampy right away and she usually responds very quickly. I finally received a call and was feeling hopeful seeing my son was still running a temperature with the same symptoms but to only find out that she wanted to "confirm" my phone number so I then asked if Dr. Thampy got my messages about my son and her response was "just to give him Tylenol" and I was still promised at least a call back. Again the day is done no call or appointment. My son is 2 and like I said I'm a first time mom and was very very concerned about him. It literally says online as I looked up his symptoms if you are concerned about your child call their Dr. right away and this is what we got. I figured because it was close to the weekend they just didn't care. I get it my son isn't the only sick child in this world but he was also a sick child who deserved to be cared for as this whole practice clearly does not. We also had an appointment a few months back and waited in the room for over 2 hours as you know for a 2 year old is not very easy but that's a whole other story. My son deserves better and we will be on the search for people with sense of urgency and who care.

Great Doctor. However this facility caters to the more well off members of society. They do not accept Medi-Cal or any of its affiliates, even as a secondary for disabled kids! They charge $40 paperwork fee for anything, no matter how small. I took my Autistic son here for health visits and they couldn't really help me with anything. If I asked a simple question my sons well visit would be coded as a basic visit and I would be charged a Co-Pay of $25 where it should/could be free. My wife and I got FMLA through our work and were charged $80 for 3 sentences and a signature on paper to provide at work. We have tobdo this every year. They do piercings and spa treatments too, probably to further her lavish personal lifestyle. Just another Dr that "cares for the children" as long as their parents have deep pockets and the right Health Insurance.

Dr. Thampy and Fran are FANTASTIC! They are so knowledgeable, understanding, and really care about the well-being of the child and the parents. I moved to Fresno recently while pregnant and I needed to find doctors immediately. This office was referred to me by my neighbor who is a labor and delivery nurse and it's the best decision I've made. The staff is also amazing! Especially Tiffany, she's the best. They are all so helpful, accommodating and nice. I highly recommend Dr. Thampy's office!!!!

I love this office! Dr Thampy and staff are absolutely amazing! she is patient and listens to our concerns! the office is clean and staff is very nice and helpful! Fran the RN is great too! love all the staff at dr thampys office!

Dr. Thampy has been my kids' pediatrician since they were born. She is amazing! Fran the NP is great also.

Dr. Thampy's office is amazing with appointments always available and quickly can be seen!! I would highly recommend for any child'!!!

Annual physical time.. I love this office and staff! Last time my daughter will have a physical here..... She turns 18 this year!I've been bringing the kids to Dr Thampy for years. Everyone here has always been very caring, helpful and thorough on explaining everything to the kids and myself. Thank you for such great care!!

I have been taking my daughters to Dr Thampy for 7 yrs now. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr Thampy and the NP, Fran is so caring and genuine. They provide so much knowledge and encouragement. I would not take my daughters anywhere else.
