Ashley Nelson's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Nelson is respectful of my concerns. She listens and takes time to explain the things appear contradictory. Ashley appears to appreciate the patient's contributions to their own health. I've been impressed by her empathetic demeanor. My previous physician retired and I feared I'd never find another that could fill her stethoscope, but I was wrong. Dr Ashley Nelson has exceeded all my expectations.

My mother 88 yrs. Went in for an annual and with what she did it could have been done over the phone. Took maybe 7 min.

Can never get in if I don’t feel well , even if it’s something simple.! Told me to my face they don’t see sick patients, they needed to go to ER or urgent care or a video visit . I told her that was ridiculous , she was supposed to care for her patients instead acts very distant and uninterested .

Something is definitely different here after Pandemic. If you read the reviews you will see how the behaviors of office staff and doctor have gone down… way down… I too saw her in 2019 and early 2020 but since then, I have gone back once! And I don’t like the one office one bit!

The office people were rude, busy and downright ridiculous!

She was very judgmental and was wrong about everything right from the start. She doesn’t take the time to read your history. She just looks at you and judges. She’s also very defensive. That’s unprofessional.

This is the worst non caring doctor we have ever experienced. My partner had been vomiting all night. He is a 74 year old gentleman. I called the on call doctor at 10 pm and he advised us to call the office in the morning to get in and see the doctor. When I called she would not speak to us on the phone and directed us to go to the emergency room. According to her staff she only does preventative care. My question, why have a doctor if they don’t have the courtesy of a phone call.

This is a review of the office not necessary the dr. This office is horrible! First no one ever answers the phone, when you leave a message no one ever calls back. if you do finally get someone is all defensive and excuses and literally zero progress for the reason you called aside from explaining why it's someone else's fault. This office needs better management it's ridiculous. They absolutely make you feel like they do not care about your health or health concerns at all. If you want a GP that cares about you and your health do not come here. This office is the poster child for why people hate dealing with Drs offices. HORRIBLE!

I find Dr. Nelson to be very professional. She is well prepared for my visit after reading all pertinent testing results. She is honest and forthcoming in providing me with caring and worthwhile suggestions for me to follow. She is an excellent communicater as well as a being a patient listener.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Nelson. I had my first visit this week. I am very nervous about going to the doctor, but Dr. Nelson made me feel less tense. My experience was similar to those of other favorable reviewers. Dr. Nelson was a very good listener and she worked with me to discuss my health goals and make health plans. When she gave advice, it was evident that she had been listening to me, she did not use generic doctor-speak. My visit was not rushed. My appointment began on time and the nurse and office staff were friendly and professional. When I forgot to ask one question at the visit and used my patient portal to email it to Dr. Nelson, she responded very quickly. I was able to schedule a follow-up appointment on a day and time that worked for me.
