List of Carlos Juarez's Reviews
The BEST he’s literally saved my life on 2 emergency occasions. I’m forever grateful to him, he also has the best & funniest bedside manner, never makes you feel degraded or uncomfortable. Gracias Carlitos
Dr. Juarez is arrogant and rude. His bedside manner is horrible. He belittled me and my feelings and made me feel small and worthless. I visited him for help losing weight, and he was judgmental when I didn't get rapid results. He said it was my fault I struggle with weight loss because, according to him, I lack discipline. I left his office in tears on several occasions after his rude interactions. I did not get the support I needed. Please, if you care about your mental health, do not visit this monster.
Horribly rude. I've never felt more belittled or insulted by a doctor. He refused to answer my questions about the procedure (laparoscopic procedure) and acted annoyed that I had the audacity to want more information from him and rushed me out of his office. He's clearly in this profession for the money. He doesn't care about his patients as long as he gets rich. Do yourself a favor and avoid ...
Incredibly rude, he was continuously rolling his eyes during the first appointment. He did not offer to answer any questions or provide any solutions.
Amazing amazing doctor!! Was referred by a GI who was absolutely terrible and dr Juarez saved me from getting an unnecessary surgery. Not only that but he looked at all my previous medical history himself to help me get the true help I needed and within 2 days had gotten back to me the second the weekend was over. Bedside manner was genuinely caring and made me felt heard. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!
Dr. Juarez offers LINX ®, a new laparoscopic procedure to treat GERD. This procedure involves a string of metal beads that are drawn together by a magnet. When this string is placed around the lower esophagus, the magnet pulls the beads together and closes off the esophagus from the stomach.
I recently had an appendectomy with Dr. Juarez. When I asked why we had an appendix, his sarcastic response was, "So I can make money." I had questions and was genuinely interested in educating myself on the procedure and he seemed like he couldn't be bothered. As a Doctor you should want to educate your patients and not talk to them in a condescending manner. Initially, I thought perhaps because we were in the hospital setting, he was short on time, but this was the case at the follow-up appointment in his office as well. The office staff, while friendly made a lot of grammatical errors with correspondence and my note to take me off work was handwritten. Could be improved and more professional. Regarding the actual procedure, everything went well. A positive was that he did give me the option of having the incisions below the bikini line. I appreciated that. Overall, I appreciate what he did for me, but given a choice, I would not elect for surgery with Dr. Jaurez again.

Worst experience ever! He needs to learn how to talk to his patients with a better attitude.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
