List of Central California Urgent Care's Reviews
Not willing to help because they are to lazy to look up my insurance
Warning this is a deceptive business. They do not have a right to call themselves an urgent care and advertise as an urgent care. This a money hungry business that starts there urgent care from 5:30pm-8:00pm but they only see private practice patients during office hours but they have a massive sign that can be seen from the road that says urgent care. Very deceptive for people in need of immediate medical attention. I wonder how many people drive here for urgent care services just to find out they wasted their time and gas.
Not happy with this place at all !!! I waited over one hour to be seen, the place looked so isolated, with only one person in front of me so I thought I would be out really quick with two doctors in back. All I heard was them yell/talking back & forth to each other. The doctor acts like he knows what he is doing, but I did not feel very confident in him at all. I had to tell him what meds I needed. He just looked at me really weird. (I had bronchitis, I get it every year. I usually go to Willow Urgent Care but this day they had closed early, I had waited to long, big mistake. So with lots of doubt but very desperate, I went here). He insisted I take the meds he gave me & of course the meds did not work. Three days later... I called to complain, I had not gotton any better, I felt HORRIBLE I asked that he prescribed me one of the meds I had originally asked for he finally gave in & by the next day I was feeling better. The one other med I wanted I would have to go back to see him for. There was no way I was going back there. I had to suffer through it a little more but I could not see myself paying him for another visit. Today, I called to let them know I lost the rescue inhaler I have misplaced or lost, he would not refill it. I explained that people with asthma carry a resue in haler incase they need it, they said I need to come back ..... I went in only 3 weeks ago on 5/8/19. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this PLACE...DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$ HERE !!! WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS!
Drs. Ali and Emami are THE kindest, most patient, dry-witted, and wise men on the planet. They truly care about the whole patient. They listen to my most inane questions and never rush me. And they both try their very best to explain things, understand me, and to help me help myself. They genuinely want you to be happy and live as long as you can as healthy as possible and avoid going so far down a road there is no reversing a harmful condition. Yogurt with honey, nasal rinse, "walking a little every day," going to faith services, spending time with family, sleeping more, watching what you eat, are all holistic prescriptions they have given me. I usually go to Urgent Care right when they open or when I think it will be light traffic. Even with patients in the waiting room, sometimes I even find myself almost getting irritated that they see me too "quickly" because I'm in the middle of a book or one of their great magazines, or a crossword puzzle on my tablet. LOL!
Wife called ahead and asked if they did chest X-rays for pneumonia. They confirmed they did, but don’t call the technicians in after 3:30-4:00 on a Sunday. I drove across town and got there at 3:05. I told the receptionist that my wife called about the chest X-rays for pneumonia. She said that they don’t call the technicians in after 3:00. I told her she told my wife 3:30 or 4:00. She advised me that she provided my wife the wrong information. Said sorry and provided no solutions. No wonder why there were no patients in the lobby.
Very nice staff and doctors, family practice urgent care, quick visit
I got to the door at 4:55 and it closed at 5 o’clock. The door was already locked. I called the number on the door and someone inside answered and said they weren’t seeing anybody anymore. I was there five minutes before closing time and they would not see me. Very disappointed
In any critical situation don't go here. Awful...I was having an asthma attack and needed a breathing treatment ASAP. Took over an hour to get checked in. Office staff was unresponsive to urgency of my need for treatment. Once in, treatment by medical trained staff was as expected and doctor was professional.
This place is horrible and the doctor is rude. I will never come back here again. It took forever to be seen!
I've been seeing Dr A. Emami for over ten years, when he used to be at Peachwood. He is very good, you gotta get to know him and make him laugh. He's a good person and a professional doctor, very thorough and respected in the medical community. I was in the hospital for two weeks and the staff said I was lucky to have a good doctor who spotted my illness.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
