List of Copeland Medical Healthcare Partners's Reviews
David Pena is the best medical provider I have ever had. Usually, I have trouble getting myself to go to doctor’s appointments due to past experiences with uncaring and cold professionals. David Pena has shown me that there are still medical professionals out there that genuinely care about their patients. He is truly a special and intelligent human being and I was lucky enough to have him be my main care provider!
Still using outdated covid restrictions. It is October 2022 and they wont allow family to come to an appointment with you. Will not be using this medical group.
I'm very sad to say I'm going to look for another provider... Copeland medical has changed for the worst!!! For the last 6 months to a year, if I need to go in to be seen, I have to go to an urgent care office as they NEVER have openings...just to make an appointment you wait at least 30mins for someone to pick up the phone... the tool over of Doctors in and out the office, is never ending, always being switch to a new provider... and the wait time when you do have an appointment is about an hour wait. This office is not the same!! Very disappointed!!!
I'm a new patient as of 2 months ago. I've seen the NP Kampfe. Overall very kind provider. I liked the time spent with me. However, both appointments I've waited over 35 min in the exam room before being seen. Mind you I do come to appointments 15 minutes early. So for example, I arrive at 3:45pm for an appointment at 4pm and I'm not seen by a provider until 4:40pm and that's on a good day when it's "slow". Scheduling patients should be taken into account and length of visits should be reviewed. My time is just as important as a providers time. I gave 3 stars because I like my provider. I'd give one star in regards to time management of the office as a whole.
Called in to informed them I was going to be about 15 mins late due to vehicle issues. They said they will only hold the appointment for 15 mins other wise it's a no show. When I showed up I was 20mins late. They informed me it's a no show. Screw them! This office makes us wait up to an hour to be seen by their doctors. No sympathy for their patients but they can be late to see you. Screw them!
If you notice. These reviews are older. My insurance was dropped from their group after several years. They did not ever provide any information to their patients. I was notified by my insurance company. I understand that its a business. First do no harm....just in case they forgot!
To start, we love PA, Taylor Sakamoto. I will miss you!!!I can't say the same for the practice...sadly disreputable. They closed the office abandoning patients for "10" days for what I was told was a training session. When they reopened, they were impossible to get through to."Training" must have included a decision to exclude Medicare Advantage, because my 95 y/o mom received a new Medicare Advantage card with an unknown doctor's name on it. I had to contact United Health Care to make sense of it. UHC even attempted to contact Copeland yesterday, but also couldn't get anyone to answer.Ethics are clearly not a part of this course of action. Truly, is this what medicine has come to? (Not even the courtesy of a letter or phone call advising the patient prior to dropping them, and in so doing denying them the time and consideration to choose their own doctor instead of being assigned one by the system.)To add to my dismay, this group has a physician in their practice who freely advertises he had Covid-19, and routinely has taken his mask off during patient exams when it was unsafe to do so. The "Partners" are aware and ostensibly did nothing.Apalling and unacceptable in an ethical, responsible, patient-centered medical practice. Oh, and do they also call themselves "Christians". God help us!
I have contacted them several times in regards to a billing matter that has gone unresolved. The bill states that the service is not covered under my insurance, however, I contacted my insurance and they said that Copeland Medical needs to resubmit the claim with the proper coding. Copeland Medical has not done anything to resolve the matter, and I am being charged the full amount without any insurance coverage. I have to look elsewhere for a different practitioner, because of the errors that they make in their billing process.
Two hours and 20 minutes and patient still hasn't been seen. Trying to entrain a toddler while waiting for patient and having to tell my clients I'll be beyond late because no one in the office can use Google to find the ingredients on the new shingles vax to see if it's safe for the patient to have. This is ridiculous.
Loved Dr. Mu. Unfortunately he is no longer with the practice. Office staff seems friendly.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
