Dr. Disbrow is the best! He cares about his patients health! He did my ostomy surgery and everything turned out great! When he diagnosed me with rectal cancer he was very positive and he told me that we will get through this together! I said I need to stay positive! Thank you Dr. Disbrow you're the best!

My first colonoscopy with Dr. Disbrow went great so I wanted to also schedule a second colonoscopy with him. Only the second time, I had some health concerns. Dr. Disbrow took the time to listen to my concerns and was exceptionally responsive and reassuring. The procedure was a great success! I appreciated Dr. Disbrow’s competence, professionalism and personable and caring nature. I feel confident with his skills knowing he is board certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery as well as in General Surgery. Plus, the fact that he is a professor at UCSF tells me he is comfortable with other doctors reviewing his work and that he probably keeps up with the latest techniques. I will definitely go to him again in the future. Thanks so much, Dr. Disbrow. Highly recommended!!

Had to check a star just to make a comment but ZERO stars is deserved. I was referred by another Specialist and had to wait 3months to see Dr. Disbrow. I live 4.5hrs away from Fresno but was still willing to see this Dr. . My appointment was at 11am, arrived 30mins prior and waited in lobby. At 11:30 I walked up to front desk to inquire if Dr was running behind, which at that point she stated "yes, he is but you are next to be called" and I reiterated that it would be nice to let patients know, since we have prescribed appointment dates and times. I did not get called back until 11:45am. The nurse did her questions and stated the Dr would be in shortly. I waited in the room until 12:40 until I decided to exit the room not before talking to the nurse. She apologized for his lack of "time-management" and I told her that I will be contacting my Health Care Provider (Tricare West) to refer me to another facility since I wasted a day of driving only to expect this poor experience (unprofessional).

Dr. Disbrow is not only an EXCELLENT doctor but a VERY CARING doctor as well. He actually saved my life and for that I am internally grateful!! I got CDIF after a 5 year bought of bad surgeries (not by him) and was within hours of dying and he knew EXACTLY what to do. My daughter (she lived in Arkansas)recently died from colon cancer. Dr. Disbrow met her at the end of her life and showed the greatest of compassion for her and me. He is not only a WONDERFUL, knowledgeable doctor but one with GREAT COMPASSION for all. We SO need more doctors like him with an EXCELLENT staff
