Waited 2 hours for eye appointment on 2 separate visits: He does not explain condition and review possible treatments or testing . Needs to be more caring and compassionate on life changing eye diagnosis

First time we were here was in 2017 and had a great experience then, fast forward to 2022 my son was referred back. The staff is very welcoming and has great customer service skills. You have to use a machine to self check in which I witnessed being disinfected frequently by a gentleman working at the front desk. Dr. Holt is very patient, takes his time and explains his findings in details. Some visits require additional testing which can last 2-3 hours so be patient and come prepared bring snacks and water. Our visit was exactly 3 hours long. Thank You for continuing to provide excellent service.

Dr. Holt is amazing!! He is very informative and understanding. His staff and nurses are wonderful too!

My daughter went to Dr. Holt several times between the ages of nine months and two years old. Every time we went he told us her vision was more out of focus, but he refused to prescribe corrective lenses because he seemed her too young. She is developmentally delayed, she would have as better time catching up if she could do a little thing like, I don't know, see. Our insurance was paying lot of money for us to be told she has terrible eyesight then have nothing done about it. We finally got in with a new ophthalmologist who was mortified that any doctor, but especially one who specializes in pediatrics, could ever think s child not being able to see, regardless of age, was ok. She also has exotropia, which Dr. Holt diagnosed on her first visit, but refused to treat until it became an obvious problem. Guess what, it's become obvious, and while she has a chance of it being fixed with glasses, that chance would have been better had she gotten them at the beginning. She's now at risk of having to have surgery if it doesn't get fixed by less invasive means. I've dealt with some pretty bad doctors in my day, but Dr. Holt is by far the most worthless pediatric specialist I have ever had the displeasure of taking my child to. He's friendly enough, but absolutely does not do what's best for his patients.

Love taking my daughter here! All of the office staff is so nice and caring! Dr. Holt is great with her.... I would HIGHLY recommend this office!

Off putting bedside manner. He didn't explain my son's eye issue very well and when I asked questions, he was dismissive.

Dr. Holt was not only the MD I worked for but an outstanding mentor as well. This professional genuinely cares about his staff, patients, families, and the gift he was given to care for people with such a sensitive matter. Dr. Holt has encouraged most of his staff present and past to always grow in any way possible, learn, and most of all to always put our best foot forward in our work. The quality of care and the understanding of your medical diagnosis is beyond any medical professional you will encounter this side of the coast. 2 years spent along his side and I consider myself very blessed. We've been coming to Dr Holt for 3 years. My only complaint is that he's not a practicing general pediatrician, I wish he wasn't just an eye dr . We see many different dr's, Dr Holt is the absolute best doctor I've ever had the pleasure of trusting my son with. His office staff are so kind, the wait is usually minimal, and because they specialize in children, they seriously make it a priority that your child is comfortable and calm. The office is fun, iPads to play with, toys, legos, Giant beanbags in the rooms for the kids to have the exams on it they prefer, movies in every room etc. doctor Holt is amazing I just wish he practiced general pediatrics.
