The nurse did not rush us when the baby was a little fussy, she gave us 10 mins to calm him down and she came right back. She did not have to do that, but I thank her for the kindness.

I have been taking my son here for 3 years now and I've had such a horrible experience most of the time that I am no longer going to bring him here. Last visit the receptionist gave me the wrong appointment, wrong doctor, and wrong information. This visit the doctor was very unprofessional. Not only do you have to wait about an hour or two after your appointment time to get in. It takes another hour or two for the actual appointment with so many different people coming in and not even telling us who they are or why they are in my sons room. Waiting 3 plus hours at an appointment for kids is not fun. Yesterday we didn't want to do one of the tests and we were told very rudely and in an unprofessional manner by Dr. Holt that "well then I'm not giving him glasses and I'm the only doctor in the Central Valley so you will have to go to San Francisco and that's why it's always so busy here and you have to wait because it's just me." Very uncomfortable with refusing one of like ten tests and then just being told that information especially in that manner. He could have explained why he does that certain test and could have said we can keep his prescription he has now until your are comfortable or something like that. More educational and professional response would have been nice and just overall communication. But to say well I'm not gonna give him glasses and pretty much good luck finding someone is a no for me. I called the doctor I go to and sure enough my doctor can see my son so that is where I will go from now on. Overall, long wait times and unprofessional staff all around. Not worth it.

All the doctors and nurse here are great. However, every time we go the wait is 2-4 hours! It’s awful. It’s always at least an hour before they even call us back to see anyone.

We love coming to see Dr. Holt! We have been with him since my son was in the NICU and drive from out of town to continue seeing him. He is so patient and attentive to my son with autism. By far best eye dr around!

Probably a 1-2 hour wait in total. Staff is friendly and nice. Dr. Holt seems rushed but friendly enough and knowledgeable. It’s just a bummer for the wait. Maybe they over booked and need to thin it out?

My appointment lasted entirely too long. The doctor was understandably late, but his staff never gave me the courtesy to tell me that he was delayed.
