I have been Dr Kayes patient for years. This Dr is so dedicated he has continually studied over the years and kept abreast of all the new technology. He is the only Dr I know who puts his patients well being first and relentlessly searches new ways to treat eye disease if u r looking for a good Eye Specialist and eye surgeon Dr Kaye should be your first and only choice

I admit Dr. David Kaye is not the most open (sociable) person I've met, BUT: he is the best ophthalmologist I have ever met! My mom saw Dr.K. for a while, and I've interacted with him that way. I found he is more on the taciturn side (reserved). I usually have many Qs and expect a lot of answers. My mom convinced me to see Dr.K. after seeing 2 other ophthalm. who could not solve a condition for 3 months. Reluctantly, I said "OK, I'll try one more". Dr.K. knew immediately what to do and solved the problem in two visits. Today, I went to Dr.K. with a problem at my other eye (apparently, they take turns), and he solved it instantly and lifted concerns I had. One trick I learned: I need to ask his assistant any details I need to find out, and Ashton is such an amazing assistant that I see him as Dr. Kaye's "social side of the coin" (the one that Dr.K. keeps on the dark side of the moon). I learned that Dr.K. wisely *saves* his energy and words. But, *I* still need Ashton to translate.
