Eric Poulsen's Online Review Report Card

I had a really great experience. The staff was helpful, the appointments were scheduled quickly and the outcome was greater than expected! I had PRK surgery and my eyes are almost completely 20/20 vision only 2 months out (it can take up to 3 to know where my eyesight is). I am very please with Dr. Poulsen's demeaner and skills. They were very straightforward about expectations and I am thrilled with the end result!

Dr Paulson has always been thorough in my eye examinations. This month, I embarked on LASIK surgery, and Dr Paulson together with Jessica were most professional throughout the entire procedure. When my right eye needed additional attention, Dr Paulson did not hesitate to examine my eye and recommend what needed to be done. Again, he addressed the situation with professionalism and care. He articulated extremely complex concepts and translated them into a vernacular that I could comprehend. My gratitude to Dr Paulson, Dr Scott, Jessica and the entire Insight Vision staff who I continue to trust with my eye sight. As a working professional who relies on her eyes every day on the job, I am thankful that there is a place right here in Fresno with expertise on which we can depend, even in a crisis.

Quite simply I would advise anybody that has reservations that they shouldn't.

I did my Lasik surgery a year ago with Dr. Poulsen. This was the best decision I had made in my life. I regret not doing long time ago! I'm so happy with the results. I could see excellent and I finally got rid of my glasses. My overall experience was Great! the Doctor truly know his job, the staff were so nice. I would recommend Dr. Poulsen to every person that wants to do a Lasik surgery because it will make a big positive difference in their lives. I encouraged my 2 sisters and 2 Cousins to do it after I did mine and they were so happy with the results as well!

He uses the Alcon LenSx Laser, which I feel gives greater accuracy and safety than a knife. I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes at a distance and up close I can easily read a computer monitor without glasses. I wanted to spend money on fancy lenses but Dr. Poulsen said they weren't indicated in my case. He was right. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. He put my outcome ahead of his bill.

Now I have 20/20 vision in both eyes at a distance and when near, I can easily read a computer monitor without glasses.
