Eric Poulsen's Online Review Report Card

I did my Lasik surgery a year ago with Dr. Poulsen. This was the best decision I had made in my life. I regret not doing long time ago! I'm so happy with the results. I could see excellent and I finally got rid of my glasses. My overall experience was Great! the Doctor truly know his job, the staff were so nice. I would recommend Dr. Poulsen to every person that wants to do a Lasik surgery because it will make a big positive difference in their lives. I encouraged my 2 sisters and 2 Cousins to do it after I did mine and they were so happy with the results as well!

I have been seeing Dr. Poulsen for years and recently had cataract surgery in one eye. He is the best doctor--thorough, professional, personable--I can't recommend him too highly!

I did a great deal of research before risking cataract eye surgery. Dr. Poulsen was name that kept rising to the top. He uses the Alcon LenSx Laser, which I feel gives greater accuracy and safety than a knife. I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes at a distance and easily read a computer monitor without glasses. I wanted to spend money on fancy lenses but Dr. Poulsen said they weren't indicated in my case. He was right. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. He put my outcome ahead of his bill.

Poulsen was awesome, and the staff were welcoming, kind, and caring. He explained things to me about my conditions, and didn't hesitate to answer any questions I had. As someone who has gone to different ophthalmologists in Fresno and San Diego, I'd say I can really trust this doctors experience and expertise. I ended my 10 year eye care relationship with my old ophthalmologist to receive more honest care, and I don't regret it!

Decided to visit Dr. Poulsen for a Lasik consult upon recommendation from a friend. So glad I did! After a thorough exam, I learned I was indeed a candidate for the procedure. The staff have all been super friendly , making my 1 and a half hour drive worth it! Had my procedure done in April 2020 and the results are nothing short of amazing! I was extremely nearsighted and now have 20/20 distance  vision , talk about life changing! I do need reading glasses but to be able to not need glasses for sports and exercise is the icing on the cake! I highly recommend Dr. Poulsen and his crew!!

I have a condition that caused the back of both corneas to degenerate. Dr. Poulsen performed a tissue transplant on each eye and my vision has been restored. I had minimal discomfort and no complications. He is an excellent surgeon and a very nice person.
