Eye Medical Center Of Fresno On Herndon's Online Review Report Card

Appointment website APP quit working. Impossible to get an appointment in less than several months. Horrible communication. I don't know how the doctors are because it's impossible to see one.

7/15/24 Eye check-up @ 2pm. Greeted upon walking in and wondering where to go. A nice worker told me the 3rd floor. Elevator up. Waited in line. Short wait. Greeted by nice worker. Asked to give insurance & ID. Told to take a seat until called. Called shortly later and told to take a seat in another waiting room to be called for eye testing. A worker called me shortly later. Very kind and patient. Covered one eye and had me hit a clicker every time I saw light. Same test on the other eye. Then asked to take a seat until she wrote down the eye exam and another worker called me back to take pictures of my eyes and put drops im them and had a scanner that went off looking forward as each eye was scanned. Then told to take a seat in the waiting room again. It is a huge building. Very busy too! Safe and clean! Antibacterial stations everywhere. Called back and a nice worker brought me to a room. He was very informative. Definitely able to answer ant questions and he told me a lot about glaucoma. There is no cure, but there is medicine that reallyhelps it. It's not diagnosed that I have it, but the reason to check given all the tests. He also had me do a test. Testing each eye from distance, calling out letters shown on the tv. Great worker! From there I waited for my doctor to come in. Dr. Strum. He came shortly later! What a sweetheart! Great doctor! Very informative and easy to talk to! He ran another test and said I definitely do NOT have a glaucoma and he'll see me in a couple years! Awesome!! GREAT doctor, Great workers and Great experience! Highly recommended!!

I worked for this company little over 90 days. I was excited and thrilled to work for such an important organization. I basically got let go for no reason or proof of my mistakes. Admin is a joke ! Basically you have to be someone’s favorite to make it here. My supervisor was a joke I tried reaching out to her about an issue that I had and seemed to me that ever since she did not like me and found something to pick on me for. They have a strict phone policy but let me tell you people that have been there years can have their phone out 24/7, do they get in trouble ? No. There is cameras to prove it. My supervisor was known as to not like people at first It did not surprise me when I got let go. Had a few tell me to go to HR but for what HR for sure is on her side. A lot of favoritism. I felt like I was working in a hostile environment and discriminated. On top of that they did not pay me my sick pay. I’m one that is not afraid to speak up. Sad to know that such important organization has poor management. Everyone should be treated equal.

They are very busy but very friendly and professional.

I love Dr. Strum, Dr. Sakuye, most of all my Doctor Mendoza💜💜💜both him and Dr Sakauye are blessed with Angel hands sent directly to them from there good spirits!! Much love!!!
