James H Kratzer's Online Review Report Card

Services has gotten much better. Kiara (front desk/MA?) I think that's her name is always so kind and friendly. The wait time has decrease drastically from 2-3 hours to 5-15 minutes. I have seen many different NPs within the last year or two from this facility, but they're all nice especially Michelle who is very knowledgeable and gives a lot of good suggestions.  It's still rare to meet Dr. Kratzer. They just hired a PA so there will be another provider there. Forgot her name but she was nice too.

Kratzer is great. Michelle is great as well. However, the wait times are terrible. I have waited an hour several times for a 5 minute visit. I wish they can do something to improve these wait times.

Dr. Kratzer's office has been nothing short of a great experience for my family. We were recommended to try out his office as we were looking for a new pediatrician for our two children. We actually met with him before our 2nd was born in October '19 and were so pleased with him, the office itself, and his staff. He's very caring, knowledgeable, and just an overall good doctor. The nurse practitioners have also been quite pleasant to work with. We have had a couple fairly long waits, but that's always been our experience with pediatricians unfortunately. We know Doctors are very busy and Dr. Kratzer is no exception. Thank you Dr. Kratzer for all that you do!

Dr. Kratzer really takes his time with each patient and parent. His exams and commitment to patients goes above and beyond the pediatric care we've experienced with other groups in Fresno. His staff is fantastic. We've had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Michelle, who has been incredibly knowledgable and warm. She's wonderful with children, and gets on my son's level, speaking to him directly and playfully. Her approach has been helpful in drawing him out and making him feel comfortable. Through friends, I've also heard only warm and appreciative feedback about his CPNP, Mary Graves.  Thank you, Dr. Kratzer and staff!

Dr.  Kratzer has done a wonderful job caring for my children many years ago & now my grandson.   Very thorough & caring & respects natural health care routes.

We found Dr. Kratzer through a co-worker's recommendation. Three days after our daughter was born we attempted to go to a pediatrician in our smaller town but our experience there was awful. We were so relieved when Dr. Kratzer's office was taking new patients and made the extra one-hour drive down to Fresno. Mary, Roberta, and Michelle have all been phenomenal in terms of taking the time to answer our questions. I never feel rushed or like they are trying to get out of the room and onto the next patient. Like others have said, I have had to wait sometimes (nothing close to the hours that they are saying) but a few extra minutes is worth it to have nurses and a doctor who truly know and care about my daughter. This is certainly one of the best doctor offices I've ever been to and the extra one-hour drive is certainly worth it for us!Side note: If you're a breastfeeding mama, particularly a new one, Dr. Kratzer and his staff specialize in helping you learn to breastfeed and will assist you with every aspect of it. They saved me after a bad hospital experience that I thought had ruined my daughter's chances of learning to breastfeed. They're amazing!

It ALWAYS takes 2-3 hours to be seen and get out of here, even with an appointment.  One of the full time medical assistance (skinny white and dark hair) and the front desk receptionist (Mexican long dark hair) have horrible customer service. They don't smile, they don't welcome you into their office or say thank you. How hard is it to say "good morning and have a nice day"? It's sad when you choose a job working with people and you don't care about providing great customer service.  For my kids appointments, I've seen the Dr here twice in 4 years! One time included was after I gave birth in the hospital. Do Expect to work with the NPs mostly which I think are better anyways. But imagine taking your toddler and being trapped in a small room for 3 hours.
