James Kratzer's Online Review Report Card

At our first pediatrician appointment we met with Carly who we’d had met at the new parent appointment. She was helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and most importantly compassionate. After sharing so much with her about history and concerns, she showed empathy and genuine care. I’ll forever be grateful to her for helping me be a better mother while being understanding and educating me at the same time. I highly recommend this office for all parents, but especially new parents who are still learning. Thank you.

Dr. Kratzer is a wonderful, caring and skilled physician. I am so thankful we found him and his practice when we had our first child.

This place is special. I feel so fortunate to have found Dr.Kratzer's office. Carly is wonderful, and I'm so happy she will be taking care of my little guy during his childhood.

My son was on a “catch up” immunization schedule and every time we go in they say something different. They told me last time only two left, we go on end he magically has 6 more. It’s a joke and they are causing more stress on me and my child. This has happened every visit and I’m finally leaving a review. I highly discourage people from going there.

the communication in the building and getting everyone on the same page is absolute awful. we are moving on elsewhere!

Wait times hasn't improved. We reserve our appointments at least 2-3 months in advance. And we show up at least 5-10 minutes early to ensure we are on time. And my Daughter's actual check up is often no more than 5 minutes. But the wait times have been over an hour!

My son has been with Dr. Kratzer for two years now. They are huge on breastfeeding and will help you through the process if your baby if not latching. My son latched on right away, however I needed help with proper latching. Mary was so sweet and set a time to meet with me to help me make sure I was properly positioned. Being a first time mom I left feeling more confident and at peace. Also Dr. kratzer is patient and and arrived shortly after my son was born. Michelle the NP is amazing she so sweet and great with kids, she's easy to talk to and just a kind person she's good and knows her stuff! I hope she never leaves Dr.kratzer office. I've also met with Kerin and she's a great listener, patient, and will give you great suggestions before trying medicine. Kira the front staff is a sweet heart. Billing is a little up tight at times,she sometimes helps in the front not as friendly, but she has gotten better. Overall medical staff is awesome. There is a long wait time but I understand why...they truly take their time with each patient and never make you feel rushed. So my advice is take a new toy a couple of new books make sure your baby has had a snack before going in to hold them over during the wait time it's hard to find medical care where doctors and nurses really want to get to know their patient's. They even call a few days later to check in with you and baby to make sure they're doing better... you just can't get that type of care anyway. I also like that Dr. Kratzer doesn't push medication right away they take more of a holistic approach but I believe because they really listen to the parent concerns and what has been going on to make a determination before just giving a child medicine or antibiotics. I'm big on natural remedies so I appreciate their perspective.

Services has gotten much better. Kiara (front desk/MA?) I think that's her name is always so kind and friendly. The wait time has decrease drastically from 2-3 hours to 5-15 minutes. I have seen many different NPs within the last year or two from this facility, but they're all nice especially Michelle who is very knowledgeable and gives a lot of good suggestions. It's still rare to meet Dr. Kratzer. They just hired a PA so there will be another provider there. Forgot her name but she was nice too.

Kratzer is great. Michelle is great as well. However, the wait times are terrible. I have waited an hour several times for a 5 minute visit. I wish they can do something to improve these wait times.

I can’t say enough good things about Kratzer Pediatrics and Michelle Dommermuth. So grateful for them!
