Just really horrible bedside manner. I saw her 6 or 7 years ago for migraines and refused to go back to her. I was placed with Dr. Yoshimura who I absolutely adored but unfortunately he retired and I got stuck with Dr. Lin again. Though I had made two separate appts one for Botox for migraines and one for post concussion syndrome her staff called me back and moved them to one appointment. And I heard about it from the doctor She walked in with a PA in training and told me we were going to have to fly through the appointment since I was there for 2 appointments and I was going to put her behind. No dear that is your staff who put you behind. I told her we could do the Botox later I was more concerned with the concussion but she just flippantly made some reference to the concussion that happened 10 months ago? YES the concussion that happened 10 months ago that Im still having issues with because my neurologist retired in January then neurology was shorthanded so they couldnt get me an appt until April and then Covid hit so I tried to wait to come into the office. The concussion Ive been discussing with various doctors for 10 months and that not one single doctor has actually evaluated other than to say it can last 23 days then it can last 23 weeks then it can last 23 months then it can last 23 years or longer. Yes the same concussion So she started flying through questions that apparently I wasnt answering fast enough because I have had a BRAIN INJURY and as she sat entering the data she rolled her eyes and sighed. Then when she left the room with the PA to get my botox as soon as the door closed they started laughing like the mean girls from some high school Disney movie only to reenter and ask so do you know how you did? How do YOU think you did? as though I was expected to pass with flying colors?? Why do you think I am here lady? Then she responded Well you are much worse than I expected honestly. Ok awesome I dont suppose you would be willing to help me or are you going to tell me to wait another 23 years? Just absolutely horrible bedside manners so patronizing condescending disrespectful and completely childish. For the love of God Kaiser please get another good neurologist in your department preferably a MD not a DO
Tina Lin is someone you dont want to see. She never came up with a diagnosis for me. She said she was going to send me to a specialist up in Sacramento as well as a psychiatrist in Fresno. She never did either of those things. She had suggested a vitamin B12 deficiency my husband told her that was ridiculous and it was so I increased foods with This is a doctor you do not want to waste time with. She did not ever diagnose me but suggested it could be a vitamin B12 deficiency. Of course it was not. She then said well she would send me to a specialist in movement disorders in Sacramento as well as a psychiatrist. She did neither. She did nothing. She simply quit doing her job. Eventually I went to a psychologist I loved and he too was appalled that she had abandoned me. He helped me get an appt. with a psychiatrist who was also completely without knowledge of tardive dyskinesia. This movement disorder is no joke and it was caused in my case by Prozac. All three of those doctors should have known about this horrible disorder. Even my primary doctor did not know about what it was. I know nurses who are knowledgeable about it but goodness gracious a physician NOT having a clue about it is unacceptable. Please dont waste your money or more importantly your time with this doctor who has no business pretending she is a specialist of any note except that she is not educated enough. Also she is not nice enough either. She sent me to ER for pain when she could very well have taken care of that aspect of my infirmity herself. Instead she chose to abandon me. Good luck and health to you all. Stay away from Kaiser Permanente if you want to get back to health.
This doc started out ok then went way downhill from there. s

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
