I met with Dr. Carl Buckhorn for the first time as my new primary care physician. He is a very good listener and spent almost an entire hour meeting with me to address several medical conditions. I found Dr. Buckhorn to be attentive, compassionate, caring, and quickly able to understand the need for further medical referrals. He also cares about your overall mental and physical well being and is thorough. His staff is also extremely polite and easy to schedule and send documents and forms to as well. I would give Dr. Buckhorn and his team 6 stars if possible. I highly recommend Dr. Buckhorn not only as a Doctor of Internal Medicine but also as a Primary Care Physician.

Also, Celese, the Patient Coordinator is extremely attentive and follows up with you the same day. I'm very happy to recommend Dr. Buckhorn as a Doctor of Internal Medicine.

I've been seeing Dr.Buckhorn for the past 15 years and he and his staff are the kindest, most knowledgeable and overall so caring and kind. His alternative therapy is the best as well. I've had sprained, ankles, a broken wrist, and cracked ribs over the years and thanks to his expertise all have healed perfectly. I have referred Dr.Buckhorn to all my friends and they have all had a great experience! One of a kind Doctor!

The man seems like he absolutely could not possibly care less about his medi-medi patients. He was rude, inept, kept us waiting for over an hour and seemed confused as to who my sister was even though she has seen him numerous times. His staff seemed rather incompetent and clueless

Very personable doctor, but unprofessional and inexperienced staff. They remind you of volunteer college students you would see at free community clinics.

I came for an appointment but had to wait more than 1 hour to meet up. And when I met him. Just 5 minutes to talk , ignoring my health problems. There isn't any good advice to fix my back pain. very disappointing

DR BUCKHORN IS THE BEST DR I HAVE EVER HAD AND BELIEVE ME, I HAVE HAD QUITE A FEW!! DR BUCKHORN IS GENUINE AND TRUELLY CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS WHICH THESE DAYS IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND! HE DONATES HIS TIME ALL THE TIME FOR THE POOR AND LESS FORTUNATE PEOPLE WHO CANT AFFORD HEALTHCARE, AND HE GOES OUT OF HIS WAY TO GET YOU THE CARE YOU NEED VIA INSURANCE ISSUES, REFERRALS TO SPECIALISTS IF NEEDED AND DIAGNOSING AND PRESCRIBING THE RIGHT MEDICATION THE FIRST TIME AND NOT JUST GUESSING THROWING THE WRONG MEDICATION AT YOU GUESSING YOUR PROBLEM OR SENDING YOU TO SOME QUACK WHO COULD CARE LESS. HE IS GENUINELY A KIND AND CARING PERSON AND AN AMAZING DR. WITH THAT GREAT OLD SCHOOL BEDSIDE MANNER THAT HE ACTUALLY CARES!!!

Staff is pretty rude.. called to make an appointed. The lady who answered just said “Hello” as if I was calling her cell phone. She started talking to other people in the office while on the phone without placing me on hold. She said I would need to do a health care verification and put me on hold for 15 minutes and then the line hung up. Supper unprofessional. Based off other reviews I have read, it seems like there is a staffing issue/attitude issue with the staff.

Dr. Buckhorn is very personable, easy going, and professional.

I been trying to reach out for an appointment for a week. Called first time no one answer then called the next day a lady answer me her name is Alejandra with the rudest attitude she was putting me on hold on and off for half an hour. Then she didn’t know how to pull out my insurance. She send me an email and asked me to email her my insurance card. I did and call back she stopped answering the phone. Unprofessional. I’m calling my insurance company to look for another place for sure.
