Dennis Buchanan's Online Review Report Card

Maybe the doctor is good, but I was unable to see him. The wait in his clinic is extremely loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong. First, you wait to see the nurse (20-30 minutes). And later on, when she says "he will be here shortly", it means another 20 or more minutes for which I do not have time for I cannot leave my students without a teacher.

Dennis Buchanan is still a poor example of a gynecologist. We found several other websites with really bad reviews. Too bad Stm Jude can't keep up with the times and start gauging customer feedback. I received more than a few thank you messages from people on Yelp saying he was not good for them or their families.

This review is for the MA/nurse of Dr. Dennis Buchanan. I have been a patient for more than 10 years, and this was the first time I experienced a cold/ discourteous/ no smile attitude from the nurse/MA, but I don't want to put her name here. The Dr's office should be able to know who she is with this hint: I had a routine wellness appointment on Nov 10th, 2022, at 3:40pm, the MA/nurse is tall, has long straight black hair tied up and wear glasses.St. Jude Medical Group normally have nice and courteous staffs, I was pretty shocked with this latest experience.Hopefully this review helps.

I hate to give any clinician bad review. Clinic visit is a teamwork of management, check in person, MA, and provider. Check in was quick.MA was rude (Adriana ?was her name perhaps). People who comes to clinic are usually in some sort of discomfort. She looked like she hates patients, no eye contacts when talking to you, everything is rushed ...I hope she is only a temp there. I can't imagine any clinic wants to hire someone that hates her job!The doctor is ....maybe he is overworked?! Maybe he is "numbed" to patient's symptoms after all these years. Who knows. I hate to judge. It is a Woman Health clinic and we are going in for female issues. No pelvic tray was set up in the room. The MA rushed in at last min during exam...and could someone closed the exam door after you leave?! I need privacy to change. Overall a sense I bothered them today. Probably won't return for any medical issues again.

He is a poor example of a doctor and should not be near women or children. Like others have said he is very arrogant and uncaring. He especially has issues with fathers for some reason. He regularly shows disregard for patients and spouses. He hates to be answer questions and explain procedures.

Love this doctor!! He takes the time to listen to you and really takes the time during your appointment. Love how he makes it a priority to see all his patients each appointment, rather than pushing you off onto a nurse practitioner. He is extremely knowledgeable, I'm so happy I switched over to him! Can't say enough good things about this doctor. Would definitely recommend!!All the staff is friendly and helpful. Love how this office sees you on time and doesn't have you waiting around in the waiting room, your typically seen on time each time!

By far he is the worst doctor Ever. First, he doesn't really care about his patients. He says one thing and 5 munutes later denies he said it. I saw him for a serious postmenopausal issue which I had been dealing with for 8 months. All he did was refer me to anothet dr Then behind my back he calls that dr and tells him all about me I had made it clear that I was not going to see that dr. A couple months ago I got a call from a dr. I never heard of. He referred me to that dr. without even consulting me. This guy is a busy body, back stabbing loser. Find so.eone else.

He has been my doctor for 14 years ! Helped through 2 pregnancies and delivered my baby girl .He is professional , kind and knowledgeable. I trust his judgment and expertise

Dr Buchanan delivered both my boys (who are now 17 and 19). I've been his patient since I was 16. He helped me make it through an amazingly difficult second pregnancy. He has an amazing bedside manner, kind, attentive and always has a smile. I highly recommend!

Dr. Buchanan is a great Dr. Originally went to him because I wanted the Dr. with the most availability at that time and I’m happy with that decision. He is very friendly and always very informative when I had questions . He gets you in the office and out quickly which I loved and I still felt I got the answers I needed from each appointment. He also delivered my little bundle of joy a month ago which I was happy about. He did a great job made me feel comfortable. Will definitely stick with him even post baby and if I have another one. Also his staff is amazing as well .
