List of Donald Bittner's Reviews
Dr. Bitner has performed two 'trigger finger' release surgeries for me; one on each hand. After 40 years of working on computers daily, and using various types of 'mouse' technology, I required surgery in each of my hands. Trigger Finger is very common nowadays with most people spending 8-10 hours at a keyboard daily. Dr. Bitner is an excellent surgeon and a wonderful human being whose caring nature extends "way beyond" his practice and out to the Community! He had an impressive 'military career' and is very much a 'Humanitarian' who takes cares of the less-advantaged through his 'gifted abilities.' I highly recommend Dr. Donald Bitner both for his expertise as a surgeon and his caring, helpful nature!
This doctor is so unprofessional. He refused my treatment which had been scheduled for two months because I did not want to see another specialist before seeing him. I have PPO insurance and saw the other specialist under him last year! Schedule your appointment, but expect to have your time wasted because he does not even respect his own staff’s time spent gathering documentation, coordinating appointments, handling unexpected emergencies, etc.
Catch him while you can. On the top of his game. Makes you feel as if you're his only patient. I'm a physician and can choose any hand surgeon.
Very confident but rightly so . . . knows his stuff, straightforward plus he and his staff take the time to answer questions and concerns. Carpel Tunnel surgery done on Monday . . .was almost back to normal on Wednesday with almost immediate relief from years of tightness in my hand. Highly recommend him!
Thank you Dr. Donald Bittner. You are my fine and most exceptional "Crusader" Surgeon, come home from the Middle East who on August 2012 skillfully repaired the second piedmont fracture on my left radius, relacing the 35 year old stainless steel bar with four screws with a much more comfortable wire mesh. May the Almighty God Our Father, His Only Son Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit continue to Bless you, your family, fellow doctors, nurses and assistants and guide your Healing Hands for many more years to come, serving the needy. Thank You!
Dr Bittner is an incredible surgeon! He is very compassionate and patient and he really took the time to educate me on my condition and options available to treat it. His PA Carrie, is a gem who is really great at her job.
DR. BITTNER IS A HERO IS SERVING OUR GREAT COUNTRY. IN ADDITION, AN EXCELLENT SURGEON. HIS P.A. CARRIE IS A TRUE PROFESSIONAL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. BITTNER AND P.A. CARRIE. SARGE
Dr. Bitner performed trigger finger surgery on 2 of my fingers on my right hand and my fingers were so much better immediately. I'm glad he was my surgeon. Not a lot of pain after the first 24 hours. He'll take care of my other hand when it gets bad enough.
I took my 15 year old son in 2005 to see Dr. Bittner after he sliced his left pinky. At the time, he played violin. I had taken initially to the emergency room on Rose Drive in Placentia (moved from area in 2008 and can't remember name) where the physician treating him told me he needed to see a hand specialist after stitching him up that evening. I made the appointment the next morning and Dr. Bittner saw him 2-3 days after the incident. He immediately scheduled surgery and did a tendon repair but told me that we should have come immediately to the ER the day of the incident. He did his best to repair what had become a finger with a tendon that retracted into the forearm, and my son was able to continue playing violin. I hasn't entirely straightened, but he has nearly full use of the finger enough that I have only heard him complain about having any problems with its use when having to lift heavy boxes, which pull on the scar tissue. He has about 80% strength compared to the right pinky. I can say that if you need hand surgery, he is skilled, direct, and personable. I would definitely have him as my family's surgeon if I still lived in the area. (I only came across his name looking for something else and it is over 8 years later.)
2009 I had a accident on my 4 wheeler quad. Major damage to my left wrist. I use my hand's to make a living. So, I searched for the best Dr. to restore my wrist/hand ability back to as close as it was prior to my accident. Fast forward 2014 I am now having elbow problems opposite side. Which brings me to write this while looking up Dr. Bittner's office number. In the past I have tried to tell everyone and write reviews about this amazing Doctor. Dr Bittner not only repaired my broken wrist but I have more movement and strength in my surgically repaired left wrist then in my right and I am right handed. Words cannot express how great of a Dr. he is or what a great human he is. Search his name and you will see. Dr. Bittner is second to none.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
