List of Douglas Nitta's Reviews
Great Dr and great staff been seeing him for over 10 year never had a problem keep up the good work
Always available and always listening. I can get many of my needs met over the phone. Highly professional environment.
4 stars for Dr. Nitta and 1 star for the office. If you want results of any kind, you need to basically harass his office staff, which I don't want to do. I have had an appointment 5 weeks in advance. They canceled 10 days before. So, I called back, left a message, then another message with someone who said they'll call back. No call back. I called again and they said that have an opening in 6 weeks, but only a few spots; otherwise I'll have to wait much longer. This isn't the first time. Also, if you need a specialist or recommendation, it might take 2+ weeks for them to get back to you (with you calling at least 3 times to remind them). If they say they'll call you, never expect a call back. When it's clearly their fault, they won't apologize in the slightest; they'll talk to you like you're taking away their time. Dr. Nitta is great, however. He always listens and does his best to help. I recommend him, but it's too much trying to work with an absolutely apathetic office.

I recommend him, but I can't jump over several hurdles to get an appointment, specialist or basic help anymore. I understand the office can be busy, but there is a difference in being busy and having an absolutely apathetic response to patients.
I found Dr. Nitta to be a very uncaring and unprofessional Doctor. He showed no concern for my Health and well-being. I found him to be incompetent. I found another Doctor. That has been a much better experience! In my opinion he should retire.
Dr.Douglas office are so unprofessional and do not care to respond phones call back to a life or dead situations with his patients.I would never choose this office ever again.Your life is at risk with this unprofessional office.
Dr. Nitta has been caring for myself and my family for the last 10+ years! He is amazing! Caring, knowledgeable and great bedside manner. I am in the healthcare industry and have met hundreds of doctors…he is by far one of the best!
The doctor doesn’t follow up with emergency requests. I called first thing and left a message with the receptionist. Need to select emergency in order to get someone on the phone. Then, no follow up from anyone whatsoever. Now office is closed for the weekend and I am in pain. Will be switching my PCP for sure! If doctor can’t take on the responsibility of following up on his patient calls, doctor needs to STOP TAKING NEW PATIENTS OR WORK LONGER HOURS!
This office staff has showed me the lack of communication, and ability to do their job. I am trying to be patient and understanding to the staff and doctor but in doing so nothing gets better it remains the same service. There needs to be major changes in this office soon.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
