I met with Dr. Eugene Bynun at Providence St Jude based on the recommendation from my cardiologist Dr Jay Han. Dr. Bynun spent about an hour with my wife and I explaining everything about my situation, saying that I could be a potential candidate for the less invasive TAVR surgery (which they go through your groin which he does this surgery) in lieu of open-heart surgery which is more invasive. But he also told me based on my health and age (71) that open-heart surgery is what he recommended and proceeded to explain to my wife and I why. He was terrific and I really felt it was easy to make this decision after listening and talking to him that day. If you ever needed TAVR surgery I would highly recommend him based on my experience with him. He is very thorough and takes all the time with you as needed.

Out of 27 years of working in the medical field, Dr. Byun has been the far best Dr. And Cardiologist that I worked with. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, nice, professional, and honest with his patients and staff. I enjoyed working with him and I loved his open-mindedness regarding stress management and medical meditation I used to discuss with him and patients. I've now been a medical assistants for 11 years and have great memories at St. Jude and Dr. Byun! Thanks for being a great Dr. !

An amazing doctor!

Dr Byun was my Cardiologist for nearly 10 years before I moved out of the area. I cannot give him enough praise. He implanted two pacemakers in me and monitored my leaky heart valves with concern and professionalism. I hope I can find a doctor half as good as him in my new area.
