Lori Uyeno's Online Review Report Card

My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Uyeno and after researching her online and seeing her reviews I was excited to move treatment to this doctor. Unfortunately, my experience before even meeting the doctor was negative and a good indicator for me how treatment would be. After the referral, the office called to inform me the doctor wanted all my medical records to review. I received them and hand delivered them to the doctors office. Almost a month later, I received a call from Kathy stating to call her back about my referral. I called the office back and was told Kathy was on lunch and she would call me back. I waited over a week with no call back. I called the office again and spoke with Erica and was told Kathy was on another call. I asked if there was someone else that could help me? Answer was no and then asked if I could wait. I was then told by Erica actually she is on her way to lunch and will have to call you back and then a swift hang up. Stunned I called back and explained that I didn't have much faith that I would get a call back and that I would like to pick up my medical records to which Erica said ok and hung up on me again. As a doctor, I would want to know if this is the way my staff treated patients. I never once through this whole process was rude or unkind to the staff. I just voiced my concern politely for Kathy's incompetence in returning a call. It is not hard to return calls, provide doctor feedback, book appointments and not hang up on customers. Especially when that is your job.

Difficult staffs & incompetent surgeon

Excellent surgeon. She shepherded me through a difficult situation and my results are outstanding.

Very competent doctor. Made me feel at ease immediately on first meeting her. Answered all my questions and explained the full results of my tests. Very pleased with this doctor.

She is a good surgeon and very patience with the patients
