List of Mark Davenport's Reviews
I have been going to Mark Davenport for years, and find him very professional and thorough. I use the MyChart app for appointments and prescription refills and find it very convenient.
I am sharing my experience today with Sunnycrest Family Practice. 7/20/2021 I had an appointment with Dr Mark Davenport at 1:20 pm. I was asked to arrive at 1:05pm. Upon arrival at 1:00 pm there was a yellow piece of paper on the door stating that today the office would be closed from 12:20 pm until 1:20 pm. It was 90 degrees outside their door where six people stood standing in 90 degrees weather. We all tried to call into them by phone and were not successful. We could see receptionists sitting at their desks. At 1:22 pm they came out to open the doors and when we expressed our concern they said "sorry, we were in a meeting". It was 90 degrees where we were waiting for 20 minutes. we were all extremely overheated. They did give us a bottle of water. My blood pressure was 174/81. That is high for me. Standing in the heat? It was NOT taken again to see if it came down. Kim, an RN did come to speak to me about being closed and expressed her concern and said she would talk to her supervisor or manager, Monica? Apparently, My Chart is causing lots of issues. My other issue is, Chris Davenport ordered physical therapy for me around June 10. He did this in a timely manner. His Staff said they had to get approval from my insurance company before they could send the order to Fullerton Physical Therapy. Several times I messaged back to say I had not heard anything. Then I got a call from this office saying they did not have any insurance information for me. This had something to do with my chart not transferring insurance information. I still did not hear for another week when I asked again and they called back and said they had sent the order to physical therapy that day. Around July 15 th. Now today Kim told me that I did not need insurance authorization because I have PPO Insurance and they just learned this information today. I waited over a month in pain to go to physical therapy. Yesterday was the first day of physical therapy. I am still hot and sweaty from this experience and not happy at all at the way I was treated at Sunnycrest Family Practice.
Excellent, highly professional staff. Fantastic doctor! I was looking for a new PCP and came across Dr Mark Davenport while searching in my insurance app. He was highly rated by others on the app and, as a bonus, is located close to my office. I don’t think I could have selected a better doctor. His “bedside manner” was fantastic, he was informative, conversational, answered all my questions, and I am SO GLAD to have found him. My other PCP (which I had to leave because they do not accept my insurance) left a lot to be desired. I wish I had switched to him sooner!
Dr Mark Davenport has been my trusted doctor for over 15 years. My last Telehealth visit was January-2021, I was suffering from excruciating pain on my left arm for two months, had not schedule a visit due to fear of needing x-rays n getting exposed to COVID-19 He knew right away what the problem was, (no x-rays needed) prescribed the right treatment and 2-days later I am able to hold my phone to type this review. My husband and I trust Dr Davenport with our health, his experience and caring attitude makes him a one of a kind doctor choosing him as our primary care Dr is one of the best decisions we made.
I don't know if things changed when they changed sites, but I have to say that my experience with Dr. Davenport has been nothing but positive. He takes time with me, listens, and works with me. Maybe I am lucky compared to some, but he has been great with me for over 10 years.
Sassy Nurses with attitude. Dr seemed uninterested. I had to ask for test i needed request the medication....Dr was only there to prescribe and request orders. Ur a number and just another body he looks tired..should retire.
Look elsewhere for your doctor. This guy can barely hold eye contact let alone prioritize your health. If you can get around his large incompetent nurse.
My first appointment with dr. Davenport was very positive he was very interested in listening to me and my problems that I shared. Although that was my first visit I definitely would go back again
This doctor should retire.
Dr.Davenport was the worst experience I ever had. At St.Jude Hospital I gave birth to a baby girl weighed 10pds 3oz on April 18th 1994. He waz the Dr on call he never gave me a episiotomy .So we all know what happened then 3rd degree tear. He should have called a specialist to stitch me because his lack of skills my stitches came out 10 days later nothing had even started to heal. That was a botched job I will never forget what i went through because of u.2 yrs later had it fixed by real Dr.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
