Altamed Medical Group - Garden Grove's Online Review Report Card

Best service of my life. I dont know what all these other people are complaining about. The process was so wonderful from start to finish. I also had the most PATIENT covid vaccine specialist, Gloria Sanchez. She was so awesome and the shot didnt even hurt....and Im the type who really hates shots. She also tolerated all of my bullshit after the shot. I love health care professionals like her. They make the world a better place. Thank you.

You would be better off flushing your money down a rat hole and going to see a witch doctor then dealing with these idiot quack.

Needed to use the walkin opportunity AltaMed offers on Saturday for my daughter to see Dr. Dang. Hours are 9a12p. We got there about 915a and upon check in, the attendant let us know it was going to be a 2 hour wait. He apologized for the wait. But I was prepared with a good book and a portable battery for my smart phone since walk ins at medical offices are rarely quick. The staff at this location today were phenomenal.  Lorraine who did the vitals for my daughter was sweet and Uzomaka A (receptionist) was so helpful and attentive with answering questions that I had. Also Dr Dang is very popular and she is worth the wait! Expect to wait longer than expected if you want to see her. I want to also give big kudos to Huynh (pharmacist), who went out of her way to help me with my own prescription.  It was originally ordered  for the CVS pharmacy back on Feb 22 but I was never contacted about it being ready. I asked her if I could fill at the AltaMed pharmacy instead. She personally sent a notice to my Dr to update the Rx there instead of CVS. She also called CVS and asked about the delay and they had advised my RX was not covered. But instead of calling me or Dr office they didnt do anything because they were too busy!!. Well Huynh was able to find a brand similar to what was needed that WAS covered! I felt that she went above and beyond and going forward I am going to use the AltaMed pharmacy in Garden Grove and forget the CVS by my house. The exceptional customer service by the staff today shows me they are all committed to servicing patients.Plus everyone wore face shields and mouth masks. Santizers are located everywhere and waiting room seating is spread out.

Beware of this clinic I say this because the incompetence level of everyone working there is very very low. They are trying to answer the phone ask 1 million questions and put you on hold hoping that you get cut off because you will never get that person again. I have been trying to get medical records and have all the documents in order. It has been 3 1/2 weeks. None of the departments can talk to each other. If you put your Health in their hands it is because you have MediCal and no other choice or you seriously dont know any better. There is one person at the front desk named Chris that is nice but her hands are tied and getting things done because the red tape to do so is so bogged down in militia. I have spent numerous hours on the phone trying to get medical records for a court case and theres no one with the authority to give it to me, even with the paperwork in hand. They even lost a set of paperwork that we had signed.If you have any other options for medical treatment please seek them and do not go to this clinic.

I was desperate to find an urgent care that would take my insurance and had never gone to this location or any Altamed. I would highly recommend this facility for their kind, caring treatment! Every person I spoke to was genuinely  polite and helpful. Dr Wu figured out what was up and I received excellent care! Thank you everyone for being great healthcare givers!

Every time I make an apt for my baby since she was 2 months they make me wait like 1hr and a half Im so upset this is her 8 th month check up and again an hour and 30 min wait so many people here just worse place ever need vaccines make an apt at the other one !

Me and my family recently changed our insurance and now have AltaMed as our medical group. I have not had one good experience with this group or office since switching over in January. They way over book their appointments and have insane waiting times. Ive never waited less than an hour to be seen with an appointment and only see the doctor for 5 minutes!!! They never know whats going on and give wrong information! I would give this medical office ZERO stars if it were an option! I do not recommend!!

Came in for a check up, waiting time was decent. the nurse who took care was really attentive and went the extra mile to ask me all necessary questions regarding the issue which I went in for. Got the proper care I needed after talking to her. I asked the lady at the front desk what the nurses name is and she said it was Crystal. Would return again thanks to her making me feel comfortable and liked her attention to detail.
