Altamed Medical Group's Online Review Report Card

Disorganized with appointments. We arrived 30mins earlier but made us wait 1hr 15mins for a nurse visit.

I have been coming to Alta Med Garden Grove for years. Today,I arrived at approximately 15:30 for an urgent care visit. I was told it was about a two hour wait. A walk in appointment was scheduled for 17:15. I was called in at around 17:00. If you check my patient after visit summary report you will see the printed time is 18:42. Still no doctor visit. The reason I left without being seen is because of your rude and unpleasant staff. I was told in a snapish tone a voice that "we only have ONE doctor and he is with a patient and to wait my turn. This is after I advise your staff that my insulin pump and my cgm are connected to my cell phone which was at 10 percent battery and about to die. I overlooked the fact that most of your staff have covid symptoms, I could hear the constant coughing and sneezing as I waited in the patient waiting room.I will be looking for a new primary care doctor because of your night urgent care team. Please send someone from corporate to speak to your staff about patient care and time management. I guess looking for misplaced covid vials was most important.

This place is fast and very helpful staff as well. So far this place has definitely been very good to me and my family and not like the Alta Med of Anaheim where they're super slow and unprofessional. This is the go to place

One of the worst altameds I've been at! I'm currently 8 months pregnant and I've came here before to get checked for COVID a couple times throughout my pregnancy. The last time I came to get checked due to bad coughing and my lungs felt sore. Well, they made me wait outside in the tents for about 30 minutes just to tell me that my blood pressure is really low and the Dr. said he cannot take me in and they urged me to go to the ER. They had me extremely worried, so I went to the ER immediately afterwards and the dr. at that ER told me I just had to take OTC cough syrup! That's it! I can't believe I had to go to an ER and spend $700 to be told this!! Well, I came back in today to pick up a prescription that the pharmacist told me was ready 15 minutes beforehand, just to be told by the tech working behind the pharm that I cannot pick it up due to the pharmacist in charge not being in. They wanted me to wait an hour to pick up nausea medication. They're out of their minds. Never coming back here after my pregnancy again.

Doesn't even deserve a star. Supposedly an urgent care too but they don't open until 1 when it says 8am on their website. The nurses outside are completely rude! The wait times are absolutely ridiculous. Might as well take the entire day off of work to sit here so the dr can see you maybe 10 minutes. The worst drs office I've been to.

Muy sangronas las señoras que atienden afuera, la verdad que mejor pido mi cambio a otro lugar muy mala experiencia en varias ocasiones, no a sido la primer vez!!

Muy mala experiencia mi esposo hoy tenia una cita fuimos llegamos a tiempo pero desde que llegamos la enfermera bien arrogante y con una actitud super mala a mi esposo no lo quisieron a tender solo porque no se dejo hacer la prueva del cov19 cuando ya le habiamos dicho a la enfermera arrogante que el se sentia bien que solo ivamos para hacer el examen fisico no puedo puedo dar el nombre de la enfermera arrogante porque no tenia gafete con el nombre altamed es de lo peor en con los empleados de enfermeria 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Best service of my life. I don't know what all these other people are complaining about. The process was so wonderful from start to finish. I also had the most PATIENT covid vaccine specialist, Gloria Sanchez. She was so awesome and the shot didn't even hurt....and I'm the type who really hates shots. She also tolerated all of my bullshit after the shot. I love health care professionals like her. They make the world a better place. Thank you.

Dr. ILLIE WU is the best! This is my first time visit and I felt like she was the only doctor I've ever been to that actually truly cared about my needs and listened to me. I feel very hopeful to get better now that I have an intelligent new primary doctor that knows her stuff. And the office staff was super pleasant and easy to work with. Thank you!:)
