Worst experience I've ever had.
My opinion. Do not go here or any offices. I went in for a simple membrane peal do to wavey lines in my left eye. (Many people have this done) 3 surgery's later and I've lost my eyesight. Worst experience I've ever had. Run away as fast as you can if you cherish your eyesight. I would give a 0 star to this Dr and his staff.
Normally, I do not give reviews. Giving this review in case it helps anyone out there. To keep things short, DO NOT go here. It doesn't matter when your appointment is, an hour wait is the MINIMUM. Waited for a cold hour and a half to see the doctor for 5 minutes. The nurse went home before I did! WORST experience.
I started treatment for ERM with a different doctor in the Retina Institutes. When it was determined I needed surgery, I was moved to Dr. Suk. I saw Dr. Suk in Huntington Beach but was told the procedure would have to be done in San Gabrial. The surgical booker was vague and the surgery center did not look at my pre-admit records until the afternoon before my surgery and cancelled my surgery for other health issues. It took 4 days for Dr Suk to call me back to tell me he had no hospital priviledges, only surgical centers. Nearly 2 weeks later, he told me that NONE of the doctors in the Retina Institutes had hospital priviledges and that I should call UCI and maybe they could recommend a doctor. I found the treatment at his office highly unprofessional.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
