List of MIchael Malouf's Reviews
Excellent doctor and office staff friendly polite its nice to finally find a caring staff.
Dr. Malouf has been my PCP for 5 years. At one point, I was seeing him on a monthly basis because my mental health was declining and I was under a lot of school pressure. Dr. Malouf is extremely caring, empathetic, and wise. I appreciate him checking up on me and taking the time to listen to my concerns. He truly goes above and beyond for caring for his patients. You can tell he loves what he does and he's good at it!
I can't even get anyone in the office to return my call on a freaking prescription for 8 days now, all calls go to a call center and they forward msgs only, it's horrible if you need your medicine
My husband and I had a tele-health video meeting with Dr Maloof about 12hrs after flying home from NY where we attended my brother’s funeral. My husband had a fever and was not feeling well. Dr. Maloof’s patience, calm and caring manner were wonderful. He was clear in what we needed to do and actually called a hospital while we watched to ensure they had the treatment he thought my husband might need and learned exactly where we should go and what we needed upon arriving there. I truly believed he may have saved my husband’s life and at minimum put him on the path to a much faster recovery. We could not recommend Dr Maloof higher. I wish we lived closer to where he practices so we could have him as our regular PCP.
For more than 15 years, I have seen Dr. Michael Malouf for everything from:Basic Annual Exams to Broken Heart Syndrome...ADHD to E-DS (Ehler's - Danlo's Syndrome). Neither of which he was familiar with, before I became a patient at La Amistad...I like to keep his Medical brain's interest peaked. So through the years, along with the above mentioned maladies, he's had to deal with:"Record-Breaking (Sized) Kidney Stones. (I passed it/ them, At Home, with only OTC pain relievers!) ;Fibromyalgia;"Caregivers' Bumps" (Yep. That's the technical term.) "...it's like 'Surfers Knee' calluses, only on a Caregiver's hands. (Mostly) It comes from pushing & lifting a lot of (occupied &/or loaded!) wheelchairs".PTSD: This was pre-COVID-19.Most of you are now aware: It's not 'just' for 'soldiers', anymore!PMDD: (Pre-Menstrual {I like to say 'Dysfunction'.} Dysphoric Disorder.) Think of it as Severe PMS. (From. Hell!)Seriously. "Legally Homicidal for 3-7 days out of every month!" BEFORE your period!I was actually a lot nicer {Like Dr. Jekyll vs Mrs. Hyde} during my "Moon Days", than the week prior!"Unknown Allergic Reaction" + "Severe Dehydration", that hospitalized me for a week. (Dehydration is Wā-āy! More Common, & Serious than you think!)COVID-19 Reactions......Now we're dealing with a Pancreatic 'System' disorder of some sort...For Dr. Malouf..., "A Busy Mind is a Happy Mind."Like a much nicer and kinder version of Dr. 'House'. I like to keep Dr. Malouf's Medical Mind "Interested'...
He is an amazing doctor! Send texts and calls to make sure you get home safe when you aren't feeling well. Always answers phone calls day or night. Does everything he can to help, and goes above and beyond for everyone! Very caring and always makes sure to make you feel better!
Injured back years ago, Dr. Ignored it and find out it was a serious injury. He's compassionate, but after telling him of my injury, he had no suggestions or anything. I go to the VA years later, as the injury had gotten worse over time. Turned out I had 5 bulging discs in the area of discomfort. I had to deal with this pain for years, thinking it wasn't bad as it was since the doctor didn't seem concerned. If it's not a simple illness or something, beware. After getting proper treatment for my injury, I've been much better. I just wished he hadn't ignored me when I reported the injury to him in the first place.
Dr Malouf is an angel in desguise. He is compassionate, amazing and very VERY caring for each and every one of his patients. He's worth the wait no matter how long it may be. I couldn't of found a better Provider than him.
A wonderful person. Above that a great, kind HUMAN. I have been going to him for 3 years and found a so very honest and trusting MD. Any doubts in your MD, go and see for your self, do not take my word.
He is the best!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
