List of Jeffrey Coe's Reviews
Dr. Coe is professional and has instilled confidence in his treatment and recommendations.
I honestly must say...I had spinal fusion from Dr Jeffrey Coe in 2013...right from the start we heard how great he was, from him...the hospital in Los Gatos that he operated my fusion from was less than nice...actually,so particularly dirty that I did not eat any of the meals they provided....his entire staff at the hospital were Eastern European ...had trouble with English...my five days there were the worst I'd ever spent in a hospital...did I tell you another neurosurgeon looked at my MRI after the surgery and told me he had pinched a nerve in my spine inside the cage...so, I've been in pain for years...the other neurosurgeon told me another back surgery to fix the problem was a 50/50 chance I'd end up in a wheelchair...I have just watched..DR DEATH..on peacock tv...and so much of it feels like I was there....brand new Spinal Institute...magazines and all...and just him and his wife as the desk girl....I asked why he couldn't perform my surgery at Stanford or another known hospital....he said...no,no....I only operate out of this hospital..which I soon figured out he had just bought...ok...HES NOT A DR DEATH...but watching this show made me relive how unreal that whole experience was....please do all your due diligence when finding a surgeon who's going to go near your spine! I still walk and talk, but pain is a part of my life ever since 2013....please,please..see a surgeon from a big known hospital....if they don't have privileges at the nice hospitals...is there a reason?. Too late for me to ask.....I wanna make sure everyone who's thinking of letting a surgeon open their back will make sure they've made a wise decision...to this day I have nerve pain down my back....and have to fight to get pain medicine...
Dr Coe is a great orthopedic surgeon!!! Very knowledgeable and does everything he can to help... gave me diffrent options to choose from for my care.. extremely happy and very grateful.that I found such great medical care... thank you Dr. Coe for your time and help
This is a most impressive practice, from the services offered on-site, such as X-rays, which can be done "on the spot," if warranted, to the people who make the place "tick." Dr. Coe is a consummate professional, as as Melissa, the PA who originally helped me. So is Miles, the very capable and welcoming MA for this team. They are all patient, empathetic and knowledgeable, providing the very best in customer service. I feel I can trust them in making decisions for my care, as they answer all questions in detail.

Dr.Coe is a great surgeon I definitely recommend him to anyone with neck and back problems. He will let you know the best options of treatment.
Coe is a stud! He will guide you to the truth of your condition. Like it or not... -2018Dr. Coe just completed an S1through L3 fusion (following an L4-L5 fusion 3 years ago). While my years of athletic compression injuries & general disc deterioration has progressed (I am now 66), Dr. Coe keeps putting Humpty Dumpty back together again. I am now free of all pre-op pain and when fully healed will be able to return to an active sports life of swimming, backpacking and elliptical cardio without limitations. Dr. Coe will guide you to your best outcome with expertise and experience held by very few in his field. ...and his PA Mellissa is equally amazing in her surgical support role! A great team. -2021
Experienced, efficient, and friendly.
All staff was very good and the procedure was excelente. Surgeon did a good jobI was unable to walk for sone months. My level of pain was intolerable but the day of the surgery I was able to walk. I hardly recommend Dr. Coe
I saw Dr Coe for a second opinion on my cervical spine. He performs the Mobi- c procedure, and I wanted to know if that was an option in the future, vs the fusion that was given as my only last resort. I liked how he ran me through the movements assessments, vs the PA, so he had first hand knowledge of any issues that could be spotted. He was easy to engage with when I had questions, and listened to my concerns. I felt he was looking at my case, and not grouping me into a generalization of what my condition”s typical presentation is, even though he referenced those generalizations. I am happy with the conservative start to treatment with a specific anti-inflammatory and isometric strength exercises. He put me at ease with his explanations, and lightened the list of activity restrictions that my Neurologist, and other neurosurgeon, had set, giving a history of cases he’s seen that justified his response. I have decided to have Dr Coe be my primary provider for my cervical spine.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
