Avoid this place! They are greedy, unethical, and do not call when they say they will. My primary care dr referred us to Bartley for a colonoscopy. And, as the other reviewers mention, it was a horrible experience from day one. They want you to print out and fill out tons of paperwork and then they say they'll call you to make an appt. Then a woman calls and screens my husband and says he needs to consult with Dr Bartley. Why, she didn't say. So my naive husband does a 5 minute phone consult with Dr Bartley, who then tells my husband what he already knows: he has hemorrhoids. And then we get a bill in the mail for $100. Why? Not once were we informed of the reason for the consult or the cost. And we stupidly assumed it was all covered bc colonoscopies are preventive. So be smarter than we were: when the office person says you need a consultation, ask why and how much first. On top of everything else, they never called to schedule the colonoscopy until after we called to complain about the fee for the unnecessary consult. And their billing person is rude and very unhelpful. Needless to say, we took our business to a better-run dr office.

She made my husband wait in his car in 95 degree weather even though he was vaccinated, wore a mask and was able to sit socially distant in the waiting room She never asked for proof of vaccination even though I told her I would bring it when I came in and I did. An elderly couple came in after us and were allowed to sit there. My husband is my caregiver. We protested because she was discriminating against us. I understand that they have a policy but she could have asked the doctor who we could see was in his office to ask if she could make an exception She as no compassion for the elderly.I had requested a phone appointment but she would not change it even though I had 2 previous phone appointments. She never asked the DR. She answered right away. The Dr.saw me for 3 minutes. I told him I was feeling fine. then he said I should come back in 3 months. Why couldn't he say that over the phone?

The receptionist is very rude!! Could not even get passed making an appointment. She even hung up on me. Everyone is going through a lot nowadays. That should not happen. The sad part is that the doctor probably has no clue this is happening. Hopefully he reads these reviews.

Not sure about the doctor but the office staff was extremely rude during making an appt. Couldn't even get past the appt. process.

Unlike the prior reported experiences on this page, I had a wonderful experience with both this doctor and his staff. I provided them with my proof of insurance ahead of time, they sent the colonoscopy prep to the pharmacy that was closest to me and the procedure was a success. I am always apprehensive when I have to be knocked out for anything and I was awake during the entire procedure and communicative. Was happy about that as well. They found a polyp and removed it and I had no complications following the procedure. They explained the procedure and followed up appropriately. I would highly recommend this doctor.

I've been seeing doctor for over seven years due to a genetic issue. He's fantastic and on top of everything. I'm healthy now. His office is busy because he's kind, skilled and takes time with you.

Terrible! I was referred to this office by my primary Dr. It has taken me 6 phone calls. A call to verify my insurance, a call back to say please send me my paper as promised, only to be told the other receptionist is out of the office and to call back. Today, she finally send me my paperwork. My instructions are now to print out all paperwork (read only) then call back for an appointment????? Ummmm, what is it that this office does? At this point I should just give myself a colonoscopy. I will definitely complain to my primary and be referred to someone else. Thanks for a waste of 2 wks only to have nothing done besides being frustrated. Horrible! Check out the other reviews....... no new news I guess.

Only here because of doctor referral. Dr. Bartley is always late and it is infuriating. And I don't mean 5-10 minutes. I mean 30-45+Thanks to taking several weeks to get my referral and appointment, the issue that got me the referral wasn't actively bothering me. When I told himI wasn't having the active pain he completely dismissed the issue and wouldn't address the fact that it even happened. He can also be condescending when questions are asked. We ask when we need expertise and chuckling at us is just rude. And I don't mean the kind like "I read this on the internet." I know that can get annoying. If you get referred here, ask for someone else.

waited over an hour for him to see me. he was very dismissive when he finally walked in. Didn't diagnose me until the 3rd visit and lied on the transcripts I requested. didn't give me results of tests he had ordered, he said doctors only give results that they consider important and if I didn't like it to find another doctor. his nurse and the desk ladies gave me a bunch of samples of linzes in a brown bag and sent me home with an appointment to come back in a month. I will never go back to him.
