I saw Dr Boozer previously and decided to go with a different Doctor. Dr Edge is so much friendlier and just so sweet. Totally recommend her and we are going to stick with her. I mean what a difference between the doctors .

Hospital and the physician groups in general are great here. However, the billing department at Keck is an absolute nightmare. We took our child there for 2 simple test two days in a row about a year ago. Both $63 co-pays were paid right away. A year into it, and we have 2 collection accounts now to deal with. This is after both check have been cashed by them and multiple hours have been spent on the phone trying to prove that the amounts have been paid already. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE for such a small amount.

The Doctors here are fine, just save yourself the torture of signing up with any doctor within the Keck Medicine of USC System if you actually want to see them!!!!! Glendale, La Canada, Arcadia, San Pablo...all of them. Be forewarned that to actually get in to see a doctor plan a 6 months or more in advance and pray to your favorite god. If you actually have bad luck and do get sick, forget seeing your doctor within their system, just go directly to emergency, it's like being on welfare. Their phone exchange is horrific, minimum wait, 20 mintues. Doctors are booked months out, they never have a cancellation and absolutely no one cares. Doesn't matter what number you call, they have a ton, they all lead to the same exchange and the wait is unbelievable. I'm changing doctors as fast as I can to leave this system!

Response: "deliver exceptional services" you say? Would you like me to name the names of doctors/nurses that made my first time pregnant wife feel extremely vulnerable with rude and condescending behavior? Along with hurry-up-dont-ask-questions attitudes? Clearly they have VERY low social and compassion skills for a very emotional process, opposite of exceptional!

I understand hospitals get busy as I grew up visiting them & being admitted. Nevertheless, this is a disgraceful hospital and if you could sue nurses for neglect I would not hesitate. Not only is this staff the laziest I've ever been but it's almost dangerous how little they care for their patients. For instance, my sister asked for water and ice and rather than getting it they go back to their stations and continue to gossip without mentioning the patients needs & this is only one of many incidents. It could not be more clear that this is nothing but a paycheck for these women and I strongly believe if you can't take care of a dying patient (or any patient for that matter) then DONT WORK AT A HOSPITAL... I've truly never seen this disrespect and have been to countless hospitals in my life.This has to be a joke how pathetic these people treat their patients. Is it so hard to do your job???? I'll gladly do it for you & if my sister suffers further because these people are dehumanized then I won't hesitate to take action.Bottom line: If you can't take care of your patients then GET A NEW JOB THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE TREATING ILLNESS BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT HELPING ANYONE

Informed consent is a foreign idea here. Charging you for things that benefit the state of California and not you and charging you for it seems to be normal practice and not questioned here.Telling you that it was for California's database and not your benefit only afterwards also seems to be common practice.As long as theyre paid, they go along with these practices and shut up, right?

I'm giving this place one star because Alex, the person in charge of getting pre-approval for MRI's could not be bothered to either pick up the line where I waited on hold for a long time before hanging up, return phone calls or even do his job and get my MRI (for a PPO insurance) pre-approved. My situation is getting worse and I have no idea if I'll be getting the test done anytime soon or at all. Dr. Tekmyster leaves much to be desired as well. Spoke using scare tactics and then leaves my test in the hands of someone who doesn't care. I now need to find a new doctor.
