Gave birth to our beautiful daughter this past November thanks to Dr Akopians. She and her team are extremely compassionate, top notch, the best RE we’ve ever experienced. We had been on this journey for a long time and had seen many RE’s, none compare to Dr. A and Julia, highly recommend!

After three failed IVF cycles at a different clinic, my husband and I met with Dr. Akopians to discuss our options. Immediately, we could feel that there was a huge difference in the care she would provide compared with what we had previously received. She is compassionate, and at the same time has a deep understanding of the science of IVF and how to proceed with evidence-based research to provide the best possible outcome for her patients. We also did not feel pressured to use an egg donor like we had at the previous clinic. Unfortunately, our first cycle with Dr. Akopians did not provide any viable embryos, but she was always there to talk with us about the results, plans, and next steps. We felt fully supported by her and her team, Sahar and Julia, through what was a very difficult process. Our second cycle produced two genetically normal embryos, and I still remember the phone call we got from Dr. Akopians and Julia to let us know that we had had our first IVF success. I am now pregnant from that IVF cycle, and as I write this I can feel the little guy kicking up a storm! Going through IVF is never an easy process, but I am so glad that we found Dr. Akopians instead of giving up. Along with Julia and Sahar (and all the other wonderful nurses and technicians we interacted with along the way), we were supported and guided with expertise and compassion. We are forever grateful to all of them.

After suffering a miscarriage and being unsuccessful of naturally conceiving, my husband and I contacted SCRC through their website. We were immediately contacted and asked to complete the new patient information through their online portal which was very easy. We made an appointment online which was a few days after our initial contact. We met with Dr. Akopians who spent over an hour with us discussing the different options that we have and the success rates for each based on our age and current reproductive state. She took the time to answer all of our questions and even did blood work and an ultrasound on our first visit. After the first visit we had made the decision to try the IUI route first before trying IVF only to find out that we were actually pregnant naturally. We contacted SCRC to let them know and instead of them passing us on to our OB since we didn't conceive through their clinic, Dr. Akopians immediately asked for me to come in and have my blood drawn so that my hormone levels could be tracked. It was a pleasant surprise that a clinic that had nothing to do with the pregnancy would actually want to help and make sure everything was on track. After the hormone levels reached the proper levels where an ultrasound could be done, Dr. Akopians monitored our pregnancy each week until we reached week 9 when we "graduated" from their monitoring and were referred to our OB. Dr. Akopians and her team made our visits very pleasant. She is very professional and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to have assistance in conceiving. The personal touches she has with her patients leaves you not wanting to leave the office. On our last appointment with her we found it very bitter sweet and we even asked if she would be willing to deliver our baby. She is a great Dr and we will never ever forget the care and time she provided to us to make sure all of our questions were answered and all of our concerns were addressed. We will definitely keep in touch with her throughout the entire pregnancy and beyond.

My husband and I reached the point where we decided to explore all of our options in trying to conceive. We began researching different doctors in the area and narrowed it down to two, with Dr. Akopians being one of them. We had consultations with both doctors, who recommended additional testing, and we proceeded with our primary care physician to complete those tests before getting started with IVF. This gave us an opportunity to interact with different staff at both clinics as we sent over test results and corresponded over additional questions regarding processes, billing, etc. Without a doubt, we decided to work with Dr. Akopians at SCRC. Her staff is responsive, personable, and kind and I even received a call from Dr. Akopians to discuss a particular question that i had. All this before I was an actual patient! The time and attention that we received from Dr. Akopians and her team was very much appreciated and a clear differentiator from the other clinic that we were considering. Working with a fertility clinic was a very big decision for us, both emotionally and financially, and we wanted to feel informed and supported throughout the process. I highly recommend Dr. Akopians and her wonderful team at SCRC!

6 years, 6 years of thinking we couldn't conceive! So grateful to my OB who refereed me to Dr. Ghadir's office. I cant speak more highly about the experience and staff,.Madi, Aileen, and the Ultrasound technicians were beyond outstanding! You could genuinely tell that they truly cared about us and what we were going through. We were directed to this office for a reason, and after a few months of coming here we found out we were pregnant. Luckily for us it was an easy fix. But I am 100 percent sure this wouldn't have happened without SCRC and the staff. Your OB can refer you out for a free consultation. SCRC is the best fertility clinic! I feel so lucky to have been under the care of Dr. Surrey and his clinical team. The whole team showed me nothing but compassion and kindness through my journey. Carla, one of Dr. Surrey’s nurse I will remember forever! At SCRC I felt welcomed right when I went for my very first appointment. From the front desk to labs and ultrasounds, everyone was so nice! IVF can be a very emotional journey and at SCRC they are there for you � percent!!

SCRC & the wonderful staff are a blessing when going through the emotional rollercoaster of infertility diagnosis and treatment. The front desk is courteous & always remembered my name. My calls were always returned the same day & if an emergency came up in the middle of the night, someone was always available or my doctor could be paged. During IVF, I was in for ultrasounds & blood work a lot & it was always a pleasure to see Helen & Raoul. My physician was Dr. Ghadir & from the moment I first walked in his office, I was treated with compassion & felt I was truly being listened to & my concerns were taken seriously. His nurse, Maria, was an angel & very patient answering my almost daily questions. My IVF miracle is about to turn 1 year old & I will forever be thankful for the caring team at SCRC.
