First visit to see Dr. Khoury for low platelets. The office was very clean and they practice covid protocol in the lobby as well as in the examination rooms . Staff was very friendly and attentive to patients needs . If I could I would give them zero star. My mom has been with them for a year first she was with Dr. Huang then after he transferred to Palm Spring he referred my Mom to Dr.Pham, after awhile being with them I still have same problem; you tell me would you trust a Doctor that after one year still doesn’t know what type of treatment you have received or what kind of medication are you taking even tho they’re the ones who prescribed the medication?! Or as a Cancer patient have you ever heard that your Oncologist never ordered blood work in past year even tho you asked them every time but they refused?! And friend of mine who is just in her late twenties and diagnosed Cancer they messed up with her treatment and once she asked why are you guys messing around this is what she has heard from them” why you don’t get yourself a better insurance, then don’t complain” so I’ll leave this here for people who’s going through what I went through it may help you to get Yourself better and caring Doctor. If I could I would give them zero star. If I could give them 0 stars I would. originally I was supposed to go to this Glendale office. First time I called I was told there are no appointments available in any of their offices. Second time I called the receptionist transferred me to a nurse whom told me she saw no authorization even though I offered her my authorization number. She proceeded to say that I am to wait for them to call me. The submissiveness and rudeness I received was shameful. I waited a few more days since I received no call back and was finally given an appointment with the downtown Los Angeles office. A cancer patient like myself should be treated with kindness and compassion not rudeness. The receptionist Andrea ( the name she gave me when I asked her 3 times) it was like pulling teeth for her to offer her name. Their superiors should be put on notice and address their staff accordingly.
Amazing Staff and Nurses always a pleasure to see them always nice the Receptionist was so friendly and understanding on anything I needed help with

I was originally going to the center in Burbank, but after an awful experience with one of their doctors (please, do not say "if it spreads, it spreads" to a newly-diagnosed 30-year-old...just don't), I switched to the Glendale center. RIGHT OFF THE BAT, I felt much more comfortable here - the receptionists are warm, friendly, and welcoming, the place is well-lit and clean. I had to wait a little bit for my appointment, but it's fine. They were busy the afternoon I went in. My appointment was with Dr. Khoury, and he's fantastic. Also very friendly, thorough, patient, and informative. I've only had video calls with him since my first time there (oh COVID, how you change things), but each time, I've been super impressed with him and his demeanor, the office's follow-up calls, their willingness to work with me and solve whatever issues I've had with scheduling and insurance delays, and also the options for chemo pricing (which I know is a weird thing to say, but hey, this is America $$$$). I guess a final review will be in order if I survive cancer (no pressure, Oncology Institute Glendale...!), but so far, so VERY good.
My appointment today was at 8 AM I got there a little before and the door was locked. While I was standing outside three people went into the office no one even acknowledged me. At 8:10 they let me in the office I talked to the receptionist and asked her if my appointment was at 8 o'clock she said someone was supposed to call me the day before because the doctor wouldn't be in till later that afternoon. The receptionist was so rude I think they need someone with a little more compassion to be the front person who greets people.
-Great nurse Brittany but that's it.-Giant HIPPA violations....-Infusing chemotherapy drugs with no pumps which is very dangerous.-Patients are elbow to elbow with each other. Some are very ill and elderly and there for hours.-Confirmation x2 day before and then day of your appt you are cancelled.-It's not just this location. I've been to 3 different offices.
First of all, its is a Clean place but the receptionist especially ANGELICA is so rude and she doesn't care about the emergency situation that the patients have. I was so rushed by asking questions about my dad for his medications, the Dr Sami Ali is really nice and professional and he always greeting me nicely every time I visit there but ANGELICA rolled her eyes for me like next time you can't ask this to talk to DR. I'm like Its okay she is KID, she doesn't get that and I never say anything to her.
I had been a patient of Dr. Stephen Huang at this office for follow-up breast cancer checkups for about 10 years. I developed new symptoms, which led my primary care doctor to refer me to the Oncology Institute for possible diagnosis of ovarian cancer. My HMO made an appointment with a Dr. Snell at their downtown Los Angeles office on June 24. On June 21, someone from the Oncology Institute called and said my appointment had been changed to Dr. Huang at the Glendale office. When I arrived, the staff told me Dr. Huang was on vacation, and I was supposed to report at the downtown office. I called to tell them I was on my way, and they said if I were more than 15 minutes late, I would have to reschedule. Because of traffic, it took more than 35 minutes to reach the other location. I sent their corporate office an email, describing my experience and requesting a written apology. As of today, I have not received an apology, or any acknowledgement of my complaint. Someone from their corporate office called me, and after more than 20 minutes on "ignore," I learned the call was related to appointments I had made for tests. Unfortunately, because of my health insurance, I have no alternative but to use this organization for my care I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone who has a choice.

Dr. Huang made this life-changing situation bearable, he was always attentive to my questions, and took time to answer them fully, all of his staff were always empathetic and caring
My mother in law has been coming here for six rounds of chemo since March 2018.Pros: Dr. Huang is great. Good communication with her and family. Ever session has been comfortable.Cons: Office staff is less than impressive. First, scheduling was a nightmare. Mother in law would call and then told to call back a certain day or time. After THREE weeks of this, I stepped in and called and finally was given the number to another clinic that was able to schedule her in. Last chemo session, she was told that no labs were needed prior. She arrived for her session and, surprise, she did have to have labs. So, her session had to be rescheduled.Overall, an ok place but you have to be a bit pushy to get appointments and correct information about your treatment
